Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear amber brown with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice coconut note with bread and a touch of dark grains. Flavor starts with coconut but finish also has bread and dark grains.

Keg at the brewery. Slightly hazy dark brown, thin creamy offwhite head, good retention. Aroma of coconut, toffee. Taste is strong coconut, toasted malt, caramel. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. 13.4k!

Pour out of 12 oz can, hazy reddish brown pour with white head, aroma brought notes of roast, cocoa, nice vanilla, slight coconut into a bit of earth, spice, hints of caramel. Taste was a mix of caramel, toffee, coconut and vanilla into a bit of roast, finishing fairly sweet, slightly dry. Pretty tasty.

Purchased at Siciliano's Market in Grand Rapids, MI; enjoyed at home still recovering from a half marathon while icing a foot. Appearance is cola brown with a moderate white head. Aroma of coconut, chocolate, and caramel, smells great. Taste is very good, not too sweet, coconut shines through, not really bitter, caramel notes as well. Its a desserty beer without being decadent. Well done.

Picked up six-pack from Ridgeview Liquors in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Pours a semi-clear amber brown colored brew with a nice off-white head that slowly dissipates and leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma of caramel malt, a hint of toffee, floral hops and a touch of chocolate. Taste is medium bodied with more coconut and light chocolate/caramel flavors than detected in aroma. Coconut is not overpowering in flavor and finish. Finish is semi-sweet with a vanilla, coconut and chocolate aftertaste that slowly disappears. A pleasant surprise and could be a favorite specialty brown ale to compare all others to. Nicely done.

Dark brown with off white head. Thick texture. Aroma is good but not very strong. Taste quite a bit like a light scotish ale. Recommend trying if you like brown ales.

Can. Aroma is very nutty with some light coconut and cocoa. Tastes great. Big coconut and nuts, light cocoa, some dark bread, and light coffee. Smooth and easy to drink. Definitely one of the better brown ales Ive had. Looking forward to more beers from these guys.
