This was a bottle on the bus at RSBG 2016. In the tasting glass gold with a white head. Nose of grassy hops. Light to medium body. Flavor is light malts and the grassy hops. Finish is lightly bitter. Decent shadey (2135) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 11, 2014
12oz bottle. Clear golden yellow color with a quickly diminishing head of tiny white bubbles that reduce to a thin ring around the glass. Aroma is grassy hops and rough graininess. Flavors are crisp and clean. Finish is a little murky and has a tang to it that is unwelcome. Certainly an easy drinker for hot weather, although that tangy finish might accumulate over an afternoon. tnkw01 (1753) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 3, 2014
Bottle. Orangish-gold color with a medium to small head. Aroma was cereal, slight bread. Taste was grain with a slightly sweet after taste. JustDrinkIt (261) - Arizona, USA - NOV 4, 2013
Orange Pour with quickly diminishing white head. Light aroma of caramel malt, yeast, and mild spice. The flavor is malty with a soft nuttyness and notes of honey. Not bad for a summer beer. daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Gold pour, fairly large white head. Sweet corn flavors, biscuity malt and not much in the way of hops.

Good alt to the normal mass beers. Glad to support local. A little malty for my tastes decaturstevo (6244) - decatur, Tennessee, USA - MAY 7, 2013

12 oz, bb 4th week of Aug 2012, so about 3 weeks past prime. Lightly hazy golden-orange with a lasting disc of creamy foam. Aroma is husky grain, honey, resin, earthy dry grass and a touch of plastic skunk. Flavor is creamy honey and toasted corn on the front, turning to dried corn husk and skunk. Light-medium body has medium carbonation and is sweet but fairly well balanced by the dry-grass finish. tzbel013 (6) - Shelbyville, Tennessee, USA - JUL 27, 2012 does not count
Nice summer ale, clear golden color, clean hop finish and refreshing. Has the typical fruity and citrus of a seasonal summer ale but could use a bit more bite for my tastes. Still another quality offering from Blackstone!
