COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Blond, cloudy, milky (colloïdal by cold). The cloudy appearance is created at low temperature but disappears when the beer gets warmer or when it is kept too long in the cold. Fine fruity with a scent of the used spice, coriander and bitter orange. Smooth beer, thirst-quenching but mild, slightly acidulous, powdery consistency on the tongue, not bitter

11.2oz bottle, shared by Aaron and Jay. Best before 28/02/14. Totally hazy whitish yellow color. Good white head. Licorice evident in the nose, as well as orange peel and coriander. Decent lace. Light to medium body. Smooth, soft carbonation. Lighter zesty sweetness, as far as whites go. Light bite in the finish. Interesting white ale. Licorice makes for a unique twist.

superspak (5871) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - FEB 27, 2013
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, best before 2/28/2014. Pours extremely hazy golden straw color with a nice 2-3 finger dense and fluffy bright white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick foamy lacing clings around the glass, with a plenty of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, pepper, orange peel, coriander, clove, wheat, floral, light licorice, and yeast earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance, strength, and complexity of spice and yeast notes. Taste of lemon, pear, pepper, clove, wheat, orange zest, coriander, floral, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of citrus, pear, pepper, clove, wheat, coriander, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Fantastic balance and complexity of yeast fruitiness and spice; with a nice amount of flavor for 4.5%; and zero cloying flavors present after the finish as expected. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a lightly creamy, crisp, and very smooth mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with zero warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic witbier! Great balance and complexity of fruity esters with spiciness; and extremely smooth to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.

33 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 09.06.2009
Aroma has soapy citrus, some floral notes and fruits. Flavour has also soapy citrus, some spices, distant floral notes and fruits. A bit too watery and straightforward, but could work on a hot day or with light foods.
