Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - DEC 11, 2007
The head is huge and lasting on this hazy, light straw Belgian wit. The aroma has notes of yeast, fruit and a bit of wheat. The flavour is lightly sweet, with lots of fresh fruit notes and a light hint of citrus in the finish. It’s a uncomplicated, light, refreshing and nice wit.

diabel (1713) - Aarschot, BELGIUM - DEC 10, 2007
Bottle Blond, clear body. Frothy white head. Nose of oranges, lemon, hops, ... quite fresh, but not tremendously interesting. Moderately bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Not very complex nor bad, somewhat fruity. Medium.

Joeh (2049) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - NOV 26, 2007
Bottle. A boring, bland tasting Belgian wit with virtually no spice or anything other than thin, sweet water. It’s boring.

Bart (2938) - Brussels, BELGIUM - NOV 12, 2007
Hazy light blond coloured beer with almost no carbonation, some yeast particles and an average white head. Fruity herby aroma. Medium palate. Finish is light bitter, fruity and herby. Medium one.

Wim (3980) - Weelde, BELGIUM - NOV 11, 2007

MiP (15667) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 24, 2007
Bottle, 4.5%. Weak citric aroma. Hazy pale yellow colour, very small white head. Good prickly mouthfeel. This beer is not so flavourful, but quite pleasant. Slightly spicy and nicely citric.

Beershine (5224) - VANCOUVER, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 20, 2007
Tried this one at the Delirium Cafe in Brussels. Nothing to write home about, and all I did for my notes was to indicate that I had tried it. I recall it being decent and refreshing.

oberabcbbsok (692) - Hoboken, BELGIUM - JUL 5, 2007
A not thar good white beer. Tasted at Mechel 2007 beer brothers festival. Not much taste

JorisPPattyn (9982) - Ursel, BELGIUM - JUL 2, 2007
Fully hazy yellow with a slight greenish shine, and a small, white, dense & fine head. Another coriander onslaught, wheat discernible, and I seem to get some diacetyl too, even DMS (celery, cooked corn). Diacetyl-filled coriandersoup. Disgusting, even despite the lemony ending that cannot save it. Light bodied, slight wheat slickness. Horrible witbier; Huyghe at its... [sorry].

reakt (950) - Greater London, ENGLAND - APR 25, 2007
UPDATED: SEP 1, 2007 bottled. I don’t recall how, but I ended up with a Blanche des Neiges weizen glass. It seemed only right to pick up a bottle. I was a little disappointed. Lemon, yeast and coriander nose. Taste is a bit muted - citrus and spice with some fruit hints. Finish was short lived, but as lemony as Hoegaarden. Shame.
