COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
In Eastern Germany there is an old, nearly forgotten style of wheat beer known as Gose (pronounced "goes-uh"). Traditionally brewed with Coriander and Salt and fermented to produce a slight sourness, this beer has a tart, refreshing finish. Our version uses German "Sauermalz" and a little Caraway to go along with the Coriander and just a touch of Sea Salt. The result is a crisp, refreshing wheat ale that is just the thing when you are "out and about" on a warm day.

This beer is a clear orange color with a thin white head that burns away steadily to a wispy film. Spotty lacing. The aroma consists of tart citrus, wheat and malt. Light-bodied with a tart citrusy character and notes of salt, yeast and doughy malt. The finish is moderately tart with a citrusy aftertaste. Decent overall, and RIP to this brewery.

Twelve ounce can from a mix six pack bought at Dent Kroger, tasted on April 10, 2017. Slightly hazy gold color, nice sweet/spicy/salty aroma, rather strong flavor that favors the spice, with not as much salt as other examples of the style. But something in the taste is a little off. This might have been a little old so a rerate might be in order.

draft sampler that poured a clear golden yellow with light white wispy head. the aroma was typical lightly salty, light wheat, light tartness on the nose. all these attributes play forward in the flavor nothing wrong with this beer at all. just not a total fan of gose. but it is very drinkable and light also had hints of caramel on the back end.

Crowler from Party Source. Clear light orange with small white head. Aroma is slightly tart, light body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is light caramel malt and light tart. The caramel malt is unusual for a gose.

Draft to taster pour clear light gold with thin white head. Nose lightly tart, with hint of fruit. Taste light sour but also sweet up front. Mild wheat mid palate. Some salt in the finish. All around fairly muted but not off putting.

on tap @ Ei8ht Ball / Bellevue KY --- Clear light amber, thin white head cover, broken curtain of lace. Taste is sour malt that is interrupted by hops on the swallow, only to return for a lingering finish. A solid gose, palate cleansing and satisfying.
