COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
We’re continuing the "Travelling IPA" series into the spring and summer with this well balanced wheat IPA. A refreshing flavor profile containing two different wheat malts in addition to oats and honey malt meld with copious amounts of Columbus, Cascade and Nugget hops. The warmer weather of spring and summer is definitely a good time to get out and explore the "lesser known paths" in this world.

Can. Orange, wheat malt, and orange peel aroma. Slightly hazy golden yellow with moderate white head. Moderately sweet creamy orange biscuit malt and moderately bitter grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. Nice.

Draft: (@ Great American Ballpark, Cincy) Light amber with a small, off-white head. Grapefruit, grass and grain aroma. Taste is more of the same, a little pine and peel hopping. A decent beer....not a standout, but just right for sitting in the sun watching a baseball game.

Drjohnrock (805) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JAN 23, 2015
Draft at Arnold’s. Medium gold hue, nice bittersweet aroma with piney hops and lots or fruit, creamy bittersweet taste--not nearly as much fruit in the flavor as in the nose. Quite sessionable. Tasted on July 18, 2014.

IPA? I don’t think so...more like a pale ale. It does have some nice citrus and floral notes, but this damn thing is a pale---I swear! All said and done, what a great brew to have at Great American, even if the Reds are getting their shit handed to them this season. Solid brew. 20oz draft pour.

on tap @ Arthur’s / Cincinnati OH --- Clear medium amber with a thin head cover, a few tiny dots of lace. Taste is straight clean malt that is quickly knocked aside by medium pine hops. The hops continue through a lingering finish. This is a good IPA, but it is also very typical, showing me nothing new or original.

Chudwick (3210) - Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA - MAY 31, 2014
Draft in a short whiskey glass - nose is grass, cat urine and citrus. Slight malty backbone. Solid.

Dogbrick (13018) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Sample at The Ohio Taproom. Pours a clear orange color with a medium thick and fluffy white head that diminishes slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Aroma of hops, fruit and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of citrus, grassy hops, malt and a touch of wheat. The finish is mildly bitter with a short fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

phaleslu (10271) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - APR 2, 2014
Draft from the new beer bar at Great American Ballpark. Pours a clear gold with a small white head. Notes of weed-like herbs, wheat, straw, lemon and orange citrus, light florals, crackers, and a hint of pine and pineapple. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a mouthfeel that starts bitter and fruity but ends very dry. Good IPA.
