Bottle from systembolaget
Hazy yellow white head.
Nice aroma of farm hay, citrus.
Taste bitter but quite nice. PalCabral (162) - SWEDEN - MAR 3, 2017
Bottle from Systembolaget. Not a very successful collaboration. The amarillo overwhelms the spelt based beer and it ends up being a one dimensional hop soup with hardly any other qualities. End the ties with Hill Farmstead if this is what you can accomplish together. NikkTwist (3304) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 28, 2017
UPDATED: FEB 28, 2017 Draft at Khyber Pass. Translucent yellow gold with a solid top of white foam. Nice lace. Complex light malty floral Saison. Bit juicy. Bit musty. Lemon shortbread. Clementine. Honeycomb. Oak barrels. Celery hearts. Lavender. Pear. White pepper. Oyster crackers. Medium-bodied. Well balanced. dwm1034 (785) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - FEB 28, 2017

Golden yellow color, hazy, big foamy head. Aroma: malty, wheaty, light fruits. Taste: malty, crisp, sour, a bit sweet. Strong carbonation. superspak (5874) - Waterford, Michigan, USA - FEB 5, 2017
750 ml bottle into tulip glass, no bottle dating. Pours slightly hazy pale golden/straw color with a 2 finger foamy white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lemon, tangerine, pear, apple, white grape, citrus zest/peels, peppercorn, herbal, grass, hay, straw, musty funk, wheat, cracker, light honey, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy/funky yeast, citrus hops, and light-moderate pale malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big lemon, tangerine, pear, apple, white grape, citrus zest/peels, peppercorn, herbal, grass, hay, straw, musty funk, wheat, cracker, light honey, and yeast earthiness. Large amount of yeast spiciness and light-moderate herbal/citrus peel bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, tangerine, pear, apple, white grape, citrus zest/peels, peppercorn, herbal, grass, hay, straw, funk, wheat, cracker, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast, citrus hops, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; with a great malt/bitter/spiciness balance; and zero astringent flavors after the finish. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth, crisp, clean, dry, and fairly grainy/bready/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is awesome. A bit prickly/foamy, but not overwhelming. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 6%. Overall this is an awesome saison! All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy/funky yeast, citrus hops, and light-moderate pale malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Awesome yeast complexity with complementing hop flavors; and a solid malt backbone. A highly enjoyable offering. asheft (3108) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - FEB 4, 2017
Bottle from Stowe Liquors. Potent fruity aroma with limes, strawberries, and pineapple. Cloudy yellow under eternal meringue. Sweet pilsner malt that finishes dry and takes one on a fruity journey from lime pith to pineapple. Very low bitterness, smooth, high carbonation. SinH4 (6113) - Garching b. UPDATED: APR 21, 2017 Bottle at Nüetnigenough. Cloudy golden color with big white head. Aroma is peppery yeasts, dough, barnyard, rustic, earthy. Taste is the same again, with a nice earthy hop bite. Silky mouthfeel. Very nice. It has some of the rustic Belgian Saison magic. 8-4-8-4-17.MelvinKalksma (1676) - NETHERLANDS - JAN 30, 2017
Bottle, once more. I have to go up. This is an utterly amazing Saison. It just has a tad too much of a bite on the tongue. 9-4-8-4-18
Medium/heavy aroma of malts, Belgian yeast, fruit, grain, hops, citrus and spices.
Turbid/opaque yellow/golden beer with slight yeast and with a large/huge white/off-white head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, Belgian yeast and fruit; ends slightly bitter and dry with grain, hops, citrus and spices.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. This has almost everything a Saison needs, but misses some funky brettanomyces. Extremely refreshing and tasty; mellow and balanced. Man, I could drink thos for days on end.
