From cervezasespeciales. In Teku glass. Warching Sons of Anarchy 4x05-06. Gushing. Not much here apart from a slight sourness. A bit amateurish

bastarda (506) - Freiburg, GERMANY - DEC 23, 2015
kindly shared by [email protected] cellar clearing tasting; quite watery, tastes like a lot less abv, but not in an interesting way; unbalanced; light sourish touch, slightly mouldy strawberries, almonds, hints of burnt rubber/stressed yeast.

bartlebier (4123) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - DEC 21, 2015
75cl bb Fin 2018 (!), bought Geers 2014, shared during Freiburg 2015 Jolly Cellar Clearing (Saison&Weird). - Takes the crown of the night’s theme, being both saison and weird. I honestly can’t tell if this has turned in my cellar or if all Blaugies batches have the same bretty rubber magic going on, but going by ratings below and my latest 2 bottles of La Vermontoise, I’d say: caveat emptor, adventurers and lovers of all things authentically saison: move ahead. - - Aroma of wild sweet&sour Pfirsichsekt aka ginned-up Pêche Melba, sweet strawberry turned in an old milkshake, natural berry caramels as well - virtually none of that expected/feared Wallonian Noel-drab sweetness. - Instead in flavour: thick farmyard fusels, wild campagnard esters, rubbery phenols (inner bicycle tyre, burnt dandelion). odd, but even more oddly recurring in the Vermointoise collab with HillFarmstead, the version brewed in Belgium. infection? - This beer is both alive and half-dead, thinned out zombiestyle, with different strains of brett which might be down to the house character, c.q. piping/filling? - I can see why Jean Van Roy is so fond of this brewery. In league with Fantôme in terms of unpredictable dirt - maybe the most basic and original of saisons.

Ktwse (5455) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 21, 2015
Pours cloudy orange with low off-white head. Aroma of light bretta, apples, grapes, light citrus, some yeast and hay. Taste is mild sour with a fairly big sweet finish. Kind of an odd one, neither really full and rich, nor crisp and refreshing. Body is light to medium, smooth, with average carbonation.

HULK777 (630) - - DEC 19, 2015
High carbonation. Fruity aroma containing lots of yeast. Full taste of citrus, tea, yeast, and citrus fruits. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

pilsnerrogge (2995) - Finspång, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2015
Pours deep, hazy orange with a small-ish fluffy head. Yeasty, funky, sourish aroma. Surprisingly thin mouth feel with lively carbonation. Taste is red apples, yeast, funk and a little bit of brown sugar.
