Draft at the Sovereign. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is slight spice, Belgian yeast, plum, raisin, and light fruit. Flavor is sweet, Belgian, raisin and plum. Medium body, medium high carbonation. Decent. Zlotta (4154) - Hagen, GERMANY - DEC 25, 2017
0.75 l bottle from 'Etre Gourmet' as 'La Moneuse Special Winter Ale', best before end 2020. Slightly hazy, dark brownish amber with a massive, dense, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy aroma of caramel, dark fruits and some spices. Moderately sweet, a little sourish, slightly fruity and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of caramel, plums, dried apricot, hay, some gingerbread and a touch of clove, followed by a medium long, fairly dry, a bit tart, slightly bitter, a bit grassy and moderately yeasty-spicy finish with a metallic touch. Medium body, minimally astringent and quite effervescent mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Very interesting, pretty dry and light-bodied for that abv, gets better while the carbobation is released, could be more intense though. Doesn't fully convince me and is therefore in line with most of the brewery's other offerings. SinH4 (6573) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - DEC 22, 2017

Bottle, courtesy of SinH4. Pours cloudy amber with a decent foam. Aroma is saison yeast, phenols, minerals, Christmas spices. Body is medium, chalky, sweet and herbal, balanced and smooth. Good. Cristobal37 (1290) - Budapest, HUNGARY - DEC 21, 2017
Bb 2020. Big boom upon opening. Pours really nice orange bronze with long lasting head. Aroma is sugary doughy bread. Black tea, orange peel, plain sponge cake taste. Crisp from the co2. Overall it's alright but not like other Belgian noel beers which tend to be much more flavorful. Not "rich" at all. Actually it's quite thin. Lemony after taste is a bit strange. My wife likes a non-alcoholic lemon malt beverage called Karamalz and it reminds me of that. Really liked all of the other Blaugies beers Ive had, but this one not so much.

On tap @ Avenue Pub in NOLA. Slightly hazy deep orange, brief white head. Spicy plum, pale malt backbone despite the appearance, dry spicy finish. Unexpectedly elegant. Grzesiek79 (4487) - Radom, POLAND - SEP 13, 2017

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, Saison yeast, fruit, apple, bread and funk.
Opaque amber/orange beer with a medium beige head.
Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel, Saison yeast, fruit and apple; ends slightly bitter and dry with bread and funk.
This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Really balanced thanks to that Saison yeast. Fruit and bread are the most dominant flavours, with some apple as well. Perfect appearance and a great palate.
