Bottle, 75cL. 6%. Purchase ("saveur-biere", FR). Home. Shared with my dad. Before tournament Largeasse (cast iron discs on lead board). A golden clear bubbly beer with a big white foamy head ; good retention. Herbs (+), light flower, citrus notes, light "wild character". Light sweet, medium dry bitter refreshing, spicy note. Light to medium body, light silky texture, average good carbonation, dry herbal bitter finish. Overall, great !!

Pours a nice lightly hazy blonde color with a big head and lots of lacing on the glass.
The aroma is very baguette like with a nice bit of herbal hoppiness. There is a nice wet limestone thing happening and the slightest hint of funk.
The flavor is very dry & lightly fruity with a touch of lemony tartness. It's got a nice bitterness and a bit of spice component. Bright at first but it's got a nice minerallity throughout.
just a wonderful Saison.
A really lovely and refreshing beer! Fit for everything. Maracuja05 (1865) - Mainz, Rineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - OCT 20, 2017
Hazy golden color with a fine white head. Nice head that leaves a fine lacing. Pleasant aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation level. Good balanced mellow acidity. Semi dry ending. Citric, yeast and some spices in the flavor. Nice!

13-10-17 // bottle. Freitag beim 4. Trierer Bierfestival // Klassisches Belgisches Saison, schön spritzig, farmhousehefig, getreidige Würze. ozzatoadisback (212) - ITALY - OCT 6, 2017
Dark golden, slightly hazy. Big white creamy head, good retention and quite a lot of lacing. Aroma is quite lively. Mainly fruity (fleshy i would say) with orange and peach most noticeable. Also has herbal/grassy notes, chamomille hints and a white bread/crackery base. Taste has a white bread base, slight honey, strong fruity notes (again orange and peach), something reminding of wildflowers and slight grassy notes. Overall this is quite sweet in both taste and aftertaste, much more than usual per style. Most notably, it lacks that dry bitter finish that many saisons have. Light to medium bodied with high carbonation, typical per style but maybe a bit too thin of a body for such high carbonation. Overall this is an enjoyable, quite intense and very fruity saison, but i can't help thinking this is a bit too sweet and thin bodied for both style and my liking. 750ml bottle from de Bierkoning. Big pop upon opening. Big white head which fades instantly to no head at all. Hazy yellow colour. Smells nice like a saison, with the yeast and hops to the fore. Tastes really lovely, very summery, with a nice hop bite and some spice. The only detractor here is the texture - its just so fizzy and the body is quite thin which combines to give the feeling of drinking a soft drink. Still a nice beer, heads and shoulders above most wannabe saisons, but quite not on the level of Fantome or even Dupont.
