On draught at Pilgrim bar. An opaque dark brown with medium body and very clean, dark malt flavors. Very carbonated, with a evenly balanced dry/sweet overall maltiness. Linc (739) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 18, 2002
Full choc/mocha aroma, deep deep red in colour. Chocolate flavour predominates the thin palate. Tasty but not entirely satisfying. Fukito (1059) - Santiago, CHILE - JUL 9, 2005
Bottle - July 2005
Frothy beige head - medium lasting. The appareance is brownish black. Aroma is faint and i cant discern anything. Flavour begin slightly sour and ends with the thypicall chocolaty and warming afterstaste of bocks....
Funny, the aftertaste is something like bitter chocolate because of the combination of flavors. The brew is nice, but I prefer their Pilsner. Maybe sometime in the future i will give it another chance. solidfunk (9006) - Washington D.C., Washington DC, USA - JAN 11, 2012
Smell has a bit of a roasted barley but the taste only follows through a little bit. There is a little sourness, but not as much as somedarker beers around Bariloche. This one’s not bad, just average. Had a bottle from the store in Bariloche. Gazza (726) - Worcester, Worcestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2007
Bottle at Cossab, BsAs - Sadly this bottle had some infection but I could still taste the good rich chocolatey body underneath with some sweetness and a long, malty, cocoa-laced finish. Not as good as it could have been but certainly has potential.
