Pours unclear lemon white very hazy with white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma brings lebanon baloney, tons of that smokey meat flavor, kielbasa, crazy. The flavor brings a beautiful tart acidity that goes down so smooth on the palate with a decent sweet yeasty ending. It is a bit dry, but not too dry at all, so nice! Totally unexpected winner here. Grabbed a couple bottles in Huntington, LI and had no idea how much I would love this beer. Think smoked berliner weisse, with a hint of beef jerky and you have Vlad the Inhaler.
Pale straw in color with a thin bright white head. Smoky aroma. Taste is incredible, as it has a sour tartness that goes so well for the style. Very drinkable and for everything that is going on, the flavor does not linger one bit. Very refreshing and a must try if you like smoked beers. Pith (160) - New York, USA - APR 1, 2013
Pours cloudy almost light pickle juice yellow with dissipating thick white medium carbonation head. Sour smelling with wheat and smoke and wood hops. Stars high carbonation almost pickle juice. Sour and smoke. Middle sweetness. Burnt oak? Finish wholly smoked saurkraut. Interesting truly andvery good with kkielbasa. Definitely a wheat with a Polish twist. hopdog (12673) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 1, 2013
Bottle. Golden / yellow color with an averaged sized head. Initially I was getting some band-aids in the aromas. Smoke, wheat, woody, fruity and some some funk. Another different and nice. andant (1) - New York, USA - MAR 9, 2013 does not count
Aroma is very smoky, a lot of oak, appearance is a little hazy. Taste of smoke with a little bit of funk, very interesting beer style. Overall even though the alcohol content is low, not the easiest beer to drink a lot of.

Pours a light pale yellow with a billowing three fingered head. Heavily smoked aroma accompanied by some fruitiness and funk. The flavor is initially sweet and finishes sour. tgncc (3135) - Bellmore, New York, USA - JUL 1, 2011
I’ve been looking for this for a while. I really love reproductions of beer recipes throughout history. The pour is very opaque yellow, slight orange, like an unripened peach, white head. The aroma is mild smoke., light fruit, banana, bubblegum. The flavor is smoke, sour lemon, cereal grains, very nice. Medium, slightly thin in body. The finish is very light smoke, salt, almost no hoppiness to speak of, just a mild bittering, like weak noble hops. Excellent beer, unique and interesting. Glad I finally got to try this. beerbill (3619) - Laurel, New York, USA - JUN 13, 2010
22 oz. bottle at the Bellport Charity Dinner. I was very surprised by the pour of this beer. I know it is a wheat beer, but with a name like Vlad the Inhaler, I was expecting something dark and mysterious. This beer is probably the most densely opaque ale I have come across and is approximately the color of banana flesh with a moderate white head. Pretty cool looking actually. Pleasant aroma of very mild smoke along with some wheat grain. The flavor is in a word, excellent. It begins with lemon and bitter orange and is followed by a wash of mellow wood smoke. Mild bitterness at the finish. Light-medium bodied. Between the Hellsmoke Porter and now this beer, and I have to say this brewer excels at smoked beers. Well done!
