on tap at bewpub Pours a clear amber color with an off white head. The aroma is biscuity malt, caramel and a hint of hops. The taste is sweet malt and caramel along with a touch of hops in the finish. It’s a touch on the watery side. The mouthfeel is light bodied with a good amount of carbonation

deyholla (12276) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 11, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear deep red with a near white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a nice light grassy and citrus note supported by a grain backbone. Flavor has a nice citrus and grass combination with sweet grains underlying.

Sampler at the brewpub. Red colored beer in the dim light I was sitting under. I have to agree with the commercial description, candy-like. Akin to the Stranger Danger I was drinking. Plenty of sweeter hops and none of the grassy or piney hops. A stronger malt backbone but I did not get a lot of caramel flavors. I wish more amber ales were this good.
