Pours a surprisingly light straw color with a white head. A bit difficult to believe that there would be much rye in this. Nose brings a bit of spice and some mild fruit. Taste has a bit of rhw but is somewhat bland with just a bit of frut accompanying it. Feel is fairly light win spritzy carbonation. Drinks quite well on a hot summer day.

On tap at the brewpub. The body was bright and light hay colored with a thin white head. The aroma was rye bread with some bologna. The taste was largely bologna up front with some rye hints. Some nice rye bread notes in the aroma, with some grassy but floral hop aromas, but the whole thing is just very light and somewhat subdued. A bit of honey in the malt profile. This is just way too light, almost nonexistent, and I have high hopes, but this was disappointing.

The tap poured a clear, light yellow beverage with a small, frothy white head that was mostly diminishing and left fair lacing on the glass. The aroma was light but somewhat complex. There were subdued hop notes of grass and flowers as well as a light doughy yeast aspect in the background. The body was light to medium with a watery texture and soft carbonation. The flavor started off sweet with a light bitter background. As the taste matured, it became more bitter. Thin, just a little wheat/rye flavor in body. Aroma lacking. I mean there just wasn't much at all. Sticky palate. One of my least favorite BT brews thus far.
