UPDATED: APR 27, 2012 On tap. Smells hoppy with some citrus. Orange with a white head. Tastes like hops. Pretty good. RobertDale (6755) - Lansing, Kansas, USA - JAN 29, 2012
On tap at brewpub. Comes clear red orange with average white head. Aroma of grassy hops and citrus. Taste is hops, citrus, and some caramel. Milder IPA with nice balance. Thorpe429 (5035) - , Illinois, USA - FEB 18, 2011
On tap at the brewpub in August 2009. Reviewed from notes.
Pours a moderate orange color with a bit of a white head. The nose is fairly faint but brings some citrus and line hops along with a bit of pale malt. The taste accentuates the hops a bit more and adds in a bit of caramel flavor. Feel is medium with good carbonation. Not a great IPA, but decent enough.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a see-through golden copper body with a big, foamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and remains heavily laced. Aroma of sweet, fresh, grassy hops. Some lemony citrus and light caramels. Pretty standard smelling IPA. Flavor is the same. Nice balance between a slightly sugary, citrus hop bite and light caramel malts. Leaves a nice and enjoyable lingering sweet piney taste. Palate is medium bodied and clean. Overall, a solid IPA from a pretty cool brewpub. Very sessionable with a good amount of flavor. heemer77 (5360) - Urbandale, Iowa, USA - SEP 23, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. The body was deep copper with an off white head. The aroma was grapefruit along with some bread and almonds. The taste was bitter grapefruit with some almonds. Unbalanced and for hopheads. Ok. theisti (4179) - Kansas, USA - SEP 2, 2008
Taster on tap at the brewpub. Pour is a clear ruby golden. Not much of a white head. Aroma is some resin hops, a touch on pine underneath that. Taste is bitter resin pine, some sweet burnt caramel. Finish is a little mineral dirtiness. Decent IPA, very quaffable. unclemike (3170) - Junction City Kansas, Kansas, USA - APR 13, 2008
On tap at brewpub. Poured a darker red color.Left a somewhat nice lacing in the glass. Very mild tasting beer. Gregis (1281) - Stilwell, Kansas, USA - JAN 19, 2008
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a thin, beige head that diminishes fairly quickly. On the nose are bright, fruity citrus and melon with a bit of caramel poking out from behind. The whole aroma strikes me as fairly subdued for an IPA, but it is nice. The palate is on the lighter-side of medium-bodied and slick with a lightly bitter finish. Sweet citric/fruity hops with a light caramel backing. This is a very easy drinker, but it’s lack of a solid, bitter hop punch made it taste more like an APA. It’s certainly worth trying, but I wasn’t left craving another.
