COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
New England-Style beers are American Pale Ales and IPAs that are most often described as hazy and juicy. The haze is due to the higher protein malts that are used as well as yeasts-like our English house yeast-that do not flocculate as well as the standard American Ale yeasts. This leaves particulates in the beer that give it the noted hazy appearance. Since we believe that filtration removes too much flavour the haze sticks around. This, combined with a light whirlpool hopping and a robust double dry-hop, results in a big tropical fruity/citrusy aroma and taste; hence juicy. It may look a bit like a milkshake and taste a bit like juice-but that’s the whole point!

Awesome. Pours a hazy golden orange with a huge, creamy, puffy off white head. Super sticky lacing. The nose is citrus and tropical fruit heavy with grapefruit, orange, pineapple and mango notes, slight wheat malts, mild toasted malt base. Slight sweetness and crisp in the body with a somewhat creamy, fuller bodied mouthfeel. Pineapple and mango notes throughout with a soft carbonation. Bitterness is moderate.

[9486-20170730] Tap. Fruity orange tangerine citrus aroma. Murky, pale orange tan body with a long-lasting creamy white head. Fruity orange hops flavour has a long bitter aftertaste. Medium body is quite bitter and refreshing. Lovely brew. (8/4/8+/4/17) 4.1

Rating from memory on this one. Had it on the weekend at a house party. What was distinctive is that there was a lady there who is just starting to get into craft beer. She didn't know much, but I asked her what she thought of this beer and she just said "breakfast". That was a very apt description given how juicy this is citrus bomb is. I find I tend to like NE style IPA/IIPAs more than PA, but the juiciness with the lack of body just made this highly poundable. I think the women is one to something and I might have to drink a can of this with breakfast sometime in the near future.

473ml can. Pours a cloudy gold with a large, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves curtains of lace. Sweet fruity aroma of wheat malt, pineapple, mango, grapefruit and orange. Sweet fruity flavour of wheat malt, pineapple, mango, passion fruit, grapefruit, orange, lemon and oats with a dry, bitter hop finish. Light to medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. A very nice, easy drinking APA. Very juicy and fresh.

2017-07-30. Murky orange body, nice creamy white head and lace. Aroma of pithy citrus, sweet lemon peel, grapefruit and light yeast. Flavour is moderately bitter throughout, pithy orange and grapefruit citrus, lightly yeasty undertone. 7++ Average bodied palate, carbonation. Pretty solid. 7/3/7-8/3/15-16 On tap at Toronto Festival of Beer.

Aroma is caramel, clove, an earthiness, and tart. Taste is light sweet grains with a bold hop profile of passionfruit and lemongrass. Finishes pretty smoothly.

UPDATED: JUL 23, 2017 Rating #2492 - 2017.07.23 - 473mL Can from @beerblast. Supah hazy Golden pour with a bubbly, barely there white foam. Aroma is sweet citrus, dank grassiness. Low-medium carbonation, this is juicy beyond belief. Lots of sweet tropical notes permeating the overarching dankitude.

UPDATED: JUL 20, 2017 hazy, juicy and delicious. This beer looks and smells great - lots of citrus, grapefruit and understated malt. The taste follows the smell, with a trace of hops that appears gradually. This is a truly delicious beer

Can (473 ml) at home, split 2-ways. Thanks to kbudd19 for this one! Milky (almost muddy) orangey with a medium white head, decent retention, leaving little lacing. Aroma is tropical fruits forward with grapefruits, herbal hops, moderate spicy cereals and resinous notes. Taste is of tropical fruits, grapefruits, resin, moderate spicy cereals and moderate bitterness. Medium body. Medium carbonation. Fruity and spicy finish. It’s a tad too spicy and not juicy enough to be world-class but it’s a good NEIPA that hit most of the right buttons.
