Cask at Royal Oak, Bath: mild, lightly chocolatey aroma; somewhat yeasty, though clean, with a very slighty roasty note. Dull.

Cask at JDW WIQ, London. It pours a slightly hazed golden color with a medium white head. Aroma is crispy grainy with notes of grass, straw, starch, bread. Taste is tangy crispy upfront and then dry bitter with notes of tangy lemon peel, stone fruit, grass, straw. Soft to medium bodied with good carbonation. Overall, quite nice

Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A clear ruby brown colour with a medium off white head. Aroma of toffee, bread, some toasted malts, slight fruit and berries. Taste of toffee, fruit, some chocolate, slight biscuit, a little bread, a hint of nuts and subtle strawberry. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, malty, fruity bitterness in the finish. An interesting bitter, very malty and fruity. Good body it quite rich. Its alright.

Cask at the Lord Moon on the Mall, JDW - London. Pours clear copper with a frothy cap. Brown bread in the nose, light toasted grains, ripening berries. Light-medium sweet flavour with mellow leafy hops, low bitterness, further brown bread, a little earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Nicely balanced finish, more lightly toasted bready malts, faint toffee, leaves, berries. Good basic bitter.

Cask HP at The Crosse Keys London as Blindmans Icarus, 4.5%. Dark orange, still, clear, foamy tan head. Aroma is toffee, some tangerine. Body is smooth with light carbonation. Taste is rich caramel, apple, some berry, lightly bitter finish. Ok overall.

Cask at JDW Welkin, thanks to Magne for the share. Clear dark brown coloured body under a bubbly surface. Fragile lacing. Aroma of bread and mid-sweet dark malts. Biscuit malts to the taste buds joined by leafy hops towards the ending. Medium bodied. Drinks well (Liverpool 02.02.2015).

Mahogany appearance but cloudy. Malty aroma with roasted biscuit. Taste a bit fruited and lasting but mild bitter bite on palate. Not bad at all and easily drunk.

(cask) clear deep ruby-amber colour with a frothy light-beige head. aroma of vinegar, light butter and muesli, with a hint of strawberries and treebark. flavour is mostly treebark and bread dough, quite green, with a light tartness and a hint of black olives. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 3 Sep 2012. Poured a clear, mid brown colour, with an off white head. Aroma was nutty, with some light fruit and brown sugar. Malt forward flavour, with some berries and grain. Finish was astringent earth, grass and copper.

Cask handpull at The Old Green Tree, Bath, Somerset. Mid brown colour with an off white head. Malty, and somewhat fruity, but not a stand-out beer.
