UPDATED: JAN 2, 2018 Bottle... This beer rocks!… Murky dark-brown pour with no head. I’m not picking up much maple in the aroma, but there are heaps of fudge, bourbon barrel-driven vanilla and coffee. Medium to full-bodied and lightly creamy with Key West carbonation. The flavor is roasty, bourbony and boozy, boasting notes of dark chocolate, espresso, dark candy sugar and liquor. Dregs of dark-roast coffee and scorched caramel in the finish. 500 mL bottle. Pours black without much of a head. Smells of coffee, maple, and an intense roasted malt. A little metallic. Strong bourbon all around. Taste is really strong bourbon. Heavy oak. Sharp coffee, almost acidic. Maple isn’t really that sweet, but lends a pretty strong flavor. Heavy. Boozy. Very low carbonation. This is very good. Bottle shared by "Sarlacc83". Colour...basic black with no head. Nose...heavy duty, wake your sorry ass up, coffee! With some booze to boot. Palate...still heavy with the coffee, but with a melange of creme de cacao, dark chocolate, chocolate ganache and Nips sweets. The feel is thick and dry on the mid palate with a long, boozy finish. A: Thick black, mocha head, leggy.
N: Intense coffee, emulsified espresso beans, maple syrup, cocoa, some molasses, lightly integrated bourbon, oak, roast, and toast.
T: Big sweetness, goodly bitter, and roasty.
M: Heavy oily body, prickly carbonation, and no alcohol presence.

Can i have a little vanilla ice cream to pour this on? This guy is thick. It’s all here, but the bacon. Aromas of bourbon, chocolate and molasses. Flavors of chocolate, coffee and brown sugar. Can’t see through it. Thanks to Block 15 and nwipa.
