Poured from bottle to glass. Hazy golden hue with fizzy white head. Aroma is straw, honey, lemon, peppercorn, earthy, slight funk. Mouthfeel is nice with a medium light body and crisp carbonation. Taste is dry throughout with a nice peppery astringentness in the following and a clean finish. Overall this is an enjoyable brew. slowrunner77 (12043) - Reno, Nevada, USA - AUG 28, 2014
"Definitely more wild than saison. Saision might be what this started as, but it’s got all kinds of cantillon cheesy funky sourness going on. Light in body, but not aroma or flavor. First foray into Block 15...hope it won’t be the last. JBPortland (1543) - Hampton Roads, Virginia, USA - JUN 20, 2014
From blind tasting notes: cloudy dark orange small head, sour lacto nose, tart, madarin orange, orange candy, acidic, pear juice, white grape, earthy, thin back end, muddy. ryanfolty (2553) - Bourbon County, Minnesota, USA - JUN 15, 2014
June 15, 2014 - bottle via trade. Orangish brown pour with big head that faded fast and some lacing. Citrus, spice and earthy aroma and taste. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUN 14, 2014
Pours a medium golden color with a couple finger of fizzy white foam. Lots of dusty oak, vinous fruit and complexities of cedar, lime and citrus zest on the nose. Palate is a bit more murky than the nose leads you on to expect but still contains great flavors of grapefruit pith, complex rustic malts, cobwebs, bitter grass, rounded honey sweetness balances out the acidity level in the finish.

Bottle labeled "Ferme de la Ville Provision" thanks to nate321, thanks a lot Nate! Pours a nice golden with a lot of bubbles that provide an eternal white head that leave some lacing. Nose is of flowers, fruits and nice brett aromatics. Taste is fruity and really lightly tart and offers some nice fruity flavors along with some fresh cereals. Finish is dry and herbal. Carbonation was a bit intense for my liking, body light. This is a really good saison, yo. A nice surprise! czar (9066) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 12, 2014
bottle shared by mathieuc, many thanks dawg. pours hazy pale yellow with a very nice creamy white head showing a good retention and lacing. dusty bretts, bright citrus and mint, flowers, honeyed maltiness if not honey and pale maltiness - hint of sweetness, quite fruity too, light acidity - mostly lactic, yet never linear, wood and herbs. lively carbonation, light body, relatively dry bretty, very chalky, lightly astringent and grassy-citrusy finish. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 27, 2014
brilliant gold with a lasting foamy white head. Tons of brett, more citrus than sulfur, lightly peppery esters, gum hints in the sweet finish. Controlled and expressive without being flawed or extreme, fizzy body accents bitterness and brett dominance. cubs (10635) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - APR 11, 2014
Bottle @ What the Funk Denver 2014. Golden appearance with a white head. Unfortunately, there was a bunch of diacetyl in the nose. Some citrus / lemon notes, but hard to get past the butter. The flavor was also messed up by the buttery notes. Some vanilla, lemon, and honey. Too bad this one wasn’t in its best shape. jkwood04 (5448) - Connecticut, USA - MAR 23, 2014
Big bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light funk, light fruits, tart/sour notes, and pale and caramel malts adding sweetness. Flavor the same. Average texture. A decent beer but not the best of the style.
