Bottle shared at Beermongers. Pours a cloudy orange color with a medium white head. A big funky tart woody nose. White wine, oak, tart, funky dry notes as well, some berry sweetness pushing through. Very good. Super drinkable. boisebeerguy (212) - boise, Idaho, USA - JUN 28, 2016
From the bottle. Wow this beer was amazing. White raspberry went very well in this beer. Carbonation was just right. Smelled like funky raspberry heaven. I could have bathed in the beer all day long and died a happy man. ineedbeer (2209) - Oakland, California, USA - MAY 1, 2016
Poured from an October 2015 bottle.
Aroma is full of bright raspberry notes. Some medium light oak presence. Light white wine notes and tannins. A touch of an earthy funk.
Pours a hazy, bright gold color with a medium sized, thin white head that very quickly disappears. No lacing or legs.
Flavor is moderately acidic with a light sweetness. Moderate raspberry notes with some light white wine character. A touch of citrus and tropical fruit. Light bitterness and oak. Some light funk.
Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a nice raspberry sour. Lots of raspberry flavor with a good barrel character. More wine as it warms. Some light funk and not too jammy. djd07 (15293) - Houston, Texas, USA - DEC 19, 2015

>>> A delicate and complex raspberry sour with a nice vinous profile and pretty good drinkability.
- Clear golden with a small ring of white foam.
- Delicate raspberries aroma with mild leafy notes.
- The mix of brettanomyces and Chardonnay barrels gives rather complex wild profile.
- Light body. Moderate carbonation. Vinous. A bit puckering. Dry.
- Alcohol is really well hidden. Never thought this was 8% abv.
- The backbone is light, but it fits nicely with a delicate complex profile.
Flavors: Raspberries, brettanomyces, strawberries, Chardonnay, leafy notes, mild oak presence, citrus.
Bottle... This beer puts the laughter in manslaughter!… Pours cloudy and golden with a small, white, quickly-dissipating head. The aroma offers raspberries and citric fruitiness with a splash of white wine and a modest measure of woody funk. Medium-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and lively carbonation. The flavor is sour and citric with big notes of raspberries and white wine. Finishes tart, clean, and then Mojave dry. Another world-class beer from Block 25 and generously shared by landhoney! jtclockwork (16951) - , New Jersey, USA - DEC 20, 2014
Bottle. Pours gold white head. Nose/taste of florals, chardonnay, oak, raspberry pit and musky lemony funk. Medium body. TheAlum (7164) - Aurora, Illinois, USA - JUL 3, 2014
375 ml bottle acquired via trade on BA. Thanks, Jacob! A bottle I’ve sought for awhile now. Pours a gently hazed slightly dulled golden hue, some shine and gentle ruby tinge with frothy loose whitish head, dies to a small ring and laces small. Lively carbonation through the body. Aromas are potently sour, firmly lactic and sour raspberry, lemon and citric elements. Yogurty life, some lively acidity and sourness, white wine barrel shows white grape, gentle citrus and melon. Gentle bready malts, cobwebs come into play as it settles more. Potent, enjoyable. Initial is lighter end of the fold in body, nice twangy lactic life. Yogurt, lemon, seedy and tannic raspberry skin. Touches of oak, a bit of vanillin with firmer sourness. The wild element is more reeled in than the potent, powerful nose let on. But still very good, almost better. Gentle fuzziness, touches of citrus, gentle grapefruit, lemon and funk. Cobwebs, oak and gentle white wine. The raspberry a bit more fruity into the backend with more yogurt, a gentle acidic jab but really, this is pretty expertly pulled or blended back. A bit of funk, more yogurt and a gentle waft of cheesiness. Gentle white wine fruit elements. Overall, the finish shows a bit of trailing fuzz, sour fruit and nice lactic element. This is sour but not acedic, really expertly crafting a pretty crushable sour with that potent nose. The raspberry is well fermented but still gives some firm life on the nose and into the backend. Really alluring nose as the beer falls just a bit more flat but is quite balanced for a sour.. which I guess is pretty impressive for a smaller, more simpler Wit base. Perhaps a touch flabby carbonation wise, but overall this is really drinkable. Really nice stuff from Block 15.
