ultimate smooth dry stout. Session city right here. So thick but so light, nuts, light choc, maillard. Wowza. hopwine (670) - brooklynzzzzz, New York, USA - AUG 23, 2014

Poured from tap to glass. Opaque black hue with creamy brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, caramel, vanilla. Mouthfeel is great with a medium body and soft carbonation. Taste is sweet with an astringent bitter following. Overall this is a really nice stout.

Aroma – Dark malts with chocolate and coffee aromas.
Appearance – Dark Brown in color, Thin head and clear.
Flavor – This was a huge oatmeal stout the oats added the slickness and flavor to the malts. There was a big degree of dark malts and roastiness.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry chocolate finish.
Overall – Take the kids out of the room this beer had a life of it’s own. Huge flavor one of the best I have had in a long time. Loved this beer. Huge flavor did I already say that? WOW.
On tap at the brewery. Really delicious stout, mild roast, dark chocolate, warm caramel flavors. Very smooth on the palate with lingering chocolate in the finish. Really well built. neepsntatties (1988) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 4, 2010

On tap @ Chuck’s 85th. Pours slightly watery dark black with thin mocha head. Aroma is roasty dark chocolate malt, fresh coffee. Taste is similar - rich, roasty flavor in spite of a light mouthfeel. Tons of flavor for a relatively low abv stout. Very nice.
