ultimate smooth dry stout. Session city right here. So thick but so light, nuts, light choc, maillard. Wowza.

hopwine (670) - brooklynzzzzz, New York, USA - AUG 23, 2014
Chocolate oatmeal cookies, barely noticeable hop presence that only acts as a balance, a little char, earthy roast, dry.

Taster - Block 15 Brewery - Corvallis, OR
Aroma – Dark malts with chocolate and coffee aromas.
Appearance – Dark Brown in color, Thin head and clear.
Flavor – This was a huge oatmeal stout the oats added the slickness and flavor to the malts. There was a big degree of dark malts and roastiness.
Palate – Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry chocolate finish.
Overall – Take the kids out of the room this beer had a life of it’s own. Huge flavor one of the best I have had in a long time. Loved this beer. Huge flavor did I already say that? WOW.

ACHops (1582) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JAN 17, 2017
On tap @ Chuck’s 85th. Pours slightly watery dark black with thin mocha head. Aroma is roasty dark chocolate malt, fresh coffee. Taste is similar - rich, roasty flavor in spite of a light mouthfeel. Tons of flavor for a relatively low abv stout. Very nice.
