Murky dark amber with a moderate beige head that dissipates to a swirl and edgeing.
Nose is earthy wood, good bourbonic vibes, dates, fruit cake, candied fruit peel, light spice, boozey underpin, toffee.
Taste comprises rich dark fruits, caramelised sugars, Xmas pudding, subtle bourbon effect.
Medium + body, fine carbonation, sweet licks in the close.
Solid American strong, lughtly warming boozed in the close and the bourbon is well pitched.
Bottle in Glenwood Springs hotel. Thanks to Steve_0. Pours a hazy orangish brown appearance with a thin brown head. Some grainy oak, coconut, heavy tannins, caramel, and some grape in the nose. Bottle in Glenwood Springs with friends. Pour is murky brown with a small cream colored head. Big bourbon, caramelly, brown sugar, coconut, some bread, figs, and dates in the aroma. Taste is big coconut, caramel, some bread, somewhat tangy, spicy, raisins and a touch of heat on the backend. Slick mouthfeel with medium carbonation. Pretty simple - bourbon, vanilla, oak, char, caramel, and brown sugar. So many malts, but none come through in a pronounced way. Just sweet and bourbony and malty in general. Poured to glass. Deep amber reddish hue with tan head. Aroma is vanilla, oak, bourbon, malt, spiciness, ethanol. Mouthfeel is great with a full body and nice carbonation. Taste is sweet up front with a nice sweetness followed by a balanced bitterness and a drying ethanol & oak finish. 750 shared by Luke. Pours a dark reddish color with a small grey head. A big sweet bourbon nose, light fruit, yeasty, not getting much in terms of an infection in this. Sugary sweet malty base, big sweet Pappy of course, light cherries, vanilla hot bourbon heat. This is pretty awesome. The palate is pretty thin. I think any sourness here is from the sour mash bourbon flavors.

Forgetfu Tasting at ChrisOs. Thanks Brother Theydon. Hazy deep amber - brown beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth with modest fine carbonation. Light malts with mild toffee and a fair bit of brown sugar. Mild wood, mellow bourbon. Tangy dried fruits. Very light spice. Light finish. A pretty mellow and sweetish bourbon ba beer.
Bottle thanks to Colin. It pours hazy deep mahogany brown with a small off-white head. The nose is sweet, vanilla, oak, fudge, coconut, dried fruits, toffee and some creaminess. The taste is wood, toasty, acidic, chewy malt, light tang, bourbon, warming alcohol, oxidised notes and damp wood. Fullish body, fine carbonation and chewy mouth-feel. Sweet, sticky and a bit hot. Bottle shared in London - thanks to Colin. Pours amber-red with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has ripe berries, wet wood, cherries, grape skin. Medium sweet flavor with some strawberry jam, a bit of toasted toffee, bread, pits, butterscotch. Medium tofull bodied with fine to average carbonation. Bottle at Nick’s tasting. Pours amber brown. Nose/taste of dried wood, honey, cocoa, bourbon, Belgian candy sugar and oak. Alcohol in finish. Full bodied.
