Black with tiny tan head. Aroma is full of chocolate and a bit of coconut. Flavor is full of rich fudge and some coconut. Great beer. hopwine (670) - brooklynzzzzz, New York, USA - OCT 24, 2014
Huge desserty nose. Vanilla, dark chocolate, huge bourbon barrel, light heat. Mouthfeel is where this really shines, possibly the fullest, most round feeling stout I’ve had. Beerman6686 (6607) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 10, 2014
This poured a darker brown with a beige head. Aroma was of bourbon, dark fruits and roast. Favor was very sweet, barrel, thin and under cared. burg326 (5596) - Florida, USA - AUG 20, 2014
Poured a black color with aromas of roast, earth, chocolate, light fudge, some bourbon, and a touch of vanilla. Flavors were the same, light chewy uncooked brownie soaked in light bourbon, tasty as hell. 77ships (10844) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2014
Thanks to Jeremy! 750 ml. bottle sampled. Black little head on the sides. Bourbon, vanilla, oak, dark chocolate nose, thick toffee & bit boozy. Thick boozy bourbon taste, liquorish, bitter herbs, caramel, molasses, lacking a bit some nuances. Thick caramel body. Very nice beer but pales somewhat in comparing to other big USA Bourbon BA RIS.

Pour is jet black with no head at all. Nose is wood, bourbon, cocoa, hint of licorice, black olive. Body is a bit thin especially in the finish, fairly rich malt and cocoa with a decent bit of bourbon. Back has a lot of charred malt and wood and gets a bit acrid. Flavor is much thinner than I thought and body hurts it there as well. Finish is also quite sweet and seems to have a good bit of sugar left over. Bottle. Dark black pour, with a thin tan head. Big on the chocolate, sugary, lots of wood, bourbon, milk chocolate, and notes of dried dark fruit. Dense, but silky body. Good stuff. jackl (8301) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 26, 2014
Sample during RBWG, Asheville. Deep brown pour with a thick oily tan head. Big sweet nose. Baked brownie. German chocolate cake. Dark roasted malts. Vanilla bourbon barrel highlights. Similar flavor. Dark chocolate brownie coated in sugar. Roasted nuts and mild hoppy bitterness reign in some of the extreme sweetness. Boozy, but not to a fault. Full, rich and oily. Overall, a real sipper. Very nice. mike_77 (7029) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - MAY 4, 2014
@zebf 2014 - Aroma of wine, wood and a hint of coconut. Flavour is initially woody and dry. Becomes sweeter with nuts, coconut. Strong alcohol feel in the finish. PriorL (3068) - Gent, BELGIUM - MAY 4, 2014
