Clear dark brown colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate - cacao, alcohol - bourbon, light coffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, chocolate, dark roasted, alcohol, sweet malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. 
75 cl bottle. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty and light alcohol. Roasted malty, overripe fruity and dense malty. Bitter and light acidic. Rich body, loads of chocolate roast, overripe dark dried fruit and sweet Bourbon. Warming alcohol finish with hardly any bitterness. Bottle shared during RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Pours oily dark brown with a creamy, beige head. Rich and decadent, with notes of alcohol, torched wood, dark chocolate, baking cocoa. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Warming finish with thick chocolate, more bittersweet baking cocoa. Very solid. Pitch black with a dirty tan head that thins to a covering.
Nose is big dark roast, bourbon soaked oak, boozey, dark toffee, chocolate, tar.
Taste comprises chocolate, good bourbon dose but well tempered, brown sugars, molasses, dark toffee fudge.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, mellow and smooth on the palate.

Bottle at Bailey’s Taproom, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out rich bourbon barrels, vanilla and cocoa. Flavour reveals rich bourbon barrels, vanilla and cocoa. Very silky and decadent. Amazing barrel aging job here. Phenomenal beer.
