Draft to taster at Lennies. Looks good for the style; a slightly hazy deep orange with off-white lacing. Smells solid; hoppy with rye spice notes and a medium-bodied pale malt backbone. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Could have a little more of a rye tingle on the palate, but a solid example of the style nonetheless. Tap at Source:
Cloudy brown amber with a short, off-white head.
Scent is rye malt, fruit.
Taste is slightly sweet, caramel and rye over an easygoing herbal hop bitter.

Amber in color, clear with a thin head. The hops are light and linger in the flavor. This needed more hops. The rye was subtle I was hoping for more flavor.
tap at the brewpub - Pours a burnt orange color with a fairly mild aroma that includes a touch of citrus. The rye grain is readily apparent in the moderately bitter flavor. It’s medium bodied and pretty good, but doesn’t work as well for me as the Rooftop IPA. shrubber85 (11706) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - MAY 18, 2012
Tap. Cherry, apple and rye malt aroma. Amber color with small head. Light fruit, rye and moderately bitter herbal hops flavor. Good - rye a bit subdued.
