COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship High Country is a deep, golden ale brewed with American 2-Row and Munich style malts. Cascade and Centennial are used in the finish and dry hopping. This is our best selling and most versatile ale due to its balance between a floral citrus hop profile and well-integrated hop bitterness. Clean. Crisp. Refreshing.

I hate this. Pours copper color with cola fizzy head. Aroma is caramel, copper kettle, trix, and pencil shavings. Taste is caramel sweetness, old pine hops, sweet and bad.

Hoppy smell, taste is similar but with some sweetness, hops just at highest point desired, very average..blah

This beer is a light copper brew with a firm head of white bubbles. Nose is mild pine needle hops and maybe a bit of metallic aspect. The taste is slightly sweet with a bit of hops at the first taste, but then broadening to a cloying sweetness in the middle. finishing to a bit of a metallic bitter aftertaste. Body is lively.

Bottle from Carolina Ale House. Banana colored. Good head and decent retention. Hoppy aroma, notes of pepper. Complex, less bitter than expected. Nice balance of sweetness. Drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from 12 ounce bottle from Beer Of The (Every Other) Month Club. Cloudy orange/yellow color, firm bittersweet aroma with prominent citrus features, small white head, moderate bittersweet flavor--not bad at all, could see this as a session brew

12oz bottle from Lowes in Hickory. Gold pour with slight off-white head. Aroma is bready malt, earthy, butter. Tastes are grainy malt, pear and citrus hops. Little yeasty in the finish. Strange. Not great.

Not my favorite, but decent ale on tap at the Blowing Rock brewery and brew house

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2013 This ?apa? is of a loose translation on the style. Refreshing aroma, syrupy texture. Taste is wheat, flowers, fruit and cereal. Therefore, it tastes like fruit loops. Well not really, but more like fruity cheerios.

Pours a clear very light amber. Small frothy white head, fairly lasting. Dry earthy hops, little toasty, pilsner malty, light straw, honey. Light body. Light earthy hoppy light bitter finish. Good drinkability. Lawnmower beer.
