Great amber ale. Perfect amount of hops makes this a relaxing beer that is worth checking out.
Sampled at the brewpub. Clear and coppery. An off white head. Soft fruit includes tangerine. Rich malts and a little smoke. Not sure where the smoke came from, perhaps the environment. Sweet malts. Pleasant if not overly flavorful. keepersj12 (3137) - Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA - MAR 26, 2014
Nice amber with a thin head. The aroma is malty sweet with a bit of caramel. The flavor has the caramel and a bit of hops to balance. Nice with the ribs. radagast83 (8476) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - JUL 31, 2013
Draft at the brewpub. Poured a clear orange-copper color with a small off-white head. Aroma was light sweet floral hop notes. Flavor was light floral and citrus hops. Sweet, very drinkable. Pawola22 (3262) - Woodridge, Illinois, USA - JAN 24, 2013
On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear copper-gold colored body with a finger-width, dense and frothy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a soapy lacing. Aroma has some lightly sweetened caramels with a decent amount of citrusy florals. Touches of grass in there too. Flavor is similar. Grapefruit florals with a lightly sweetened caramel malt backing. Finishes clean, dry, and lightly bitter with a bit of a grassy note. Lengthy aftertaste following a medium-light body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a simple, but easy drinking and balanced pale ale. Nothing special, but enjoyable. BVery (11361) - Plymouth, Minnesota, USA - OCT 20, 2012
Tap at the brewpub. Clear orange pour with a soapy cream head. Buttery grains, lightly sweet, pretty decent brew.

Draught at the brewpub. Pours clear brass color with off-white head. The aroma is malty and slightly buttery with a bit of fruit, estery notes, maybe a small fruity nop note. The flavor is "dirty" English malts, some woody character. It’s fairly estery. The finish is semi-dry and slightly earthy. DrnkMcDermott (3137) - Downers Grove, Illinois, USA - SEP 6, 2011
Taster at the brewpub. Pretty clear amber/brown color. A little layer of foam. I get no real smell, either from my allergies, or because sometimes the smell brewing operations can overwhelm what you’re drinking. But it’s all right. A thinner mouthfeel than the Big Bad Dog I just had. Currently served on a nitro push, and very sessionable. Another nut brown malt and touch of fruit ester. Not spectacular, but there’s nothing wrong with that. A bit of yeast in the finish. DalzAle (2038) - Eden Prairie, Minnesota, USA - JUL 20, 2011
Clear pale orange pour, little carbonation and no noticeable aroma. Flavor was more like an amber, plenty of malt, a little sweetness and clean on the aftertaste. Not much of a hop profile as I would prefer, but a decent beer nonetheless. cbfobes (2891) - Quad Cities, Illinois, USA - MAY 8, 2011
On tap at brewpub, pours a clear amber with a thin head, aroma is sweet with malt and a slight hop kick, the flavor has some caramel with a hop finish, pretty crisp and clean. Cavie (4805) - Arlington, Texas, USA - MAY 29, 2010
Tap at the pub. Pours a copper/amber orange with light head. Sweet floral hops fill the nose. Quite sweet aromatically speaking. Slick mouthfeel. Floral hops and gentle soap on the flavor. Very gentle finish. What a delicate brew this is! Slight fruit on the finish.
