This American style wheat was fermented with 150 pounds of blueberries, 50 pounds of which came from Gering Garden’s Blueberry Farm in Mosinee, WI. The berries added a beautiful color, fruity flavor, and bit of tartness. The berry flavor does not overwhelm the palate, so the wheat malt comes through nicely. Just a warning, you may find some sediment in your glass from the berries. So thank-you fruit, you’re a wonderful addition to beer.
