Tap at BH. The flavor profile is right on. The body is just thin, neutered, lacking depth. Slickly sweet. Extract blandness. mcjay (463) - Neenah, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 13, 2011
Deep copper color with a foamy tan head. There is a light toffee aroma. The flavor has a mild fruity note and the body is rich and malty with a dry finish. This is a very nice representation of the style. This brew is helpful for us americans with the post McEwan’s blues. weitz15 (593) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 12, 2010
Moderate malty aroma accompanying a copper brown pour. The taste is thick and malty wig a slightly alcoholic presence.

On draught at the Blue Heron brewpub in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pours a clear dark copper amber colored brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing. Aroma is quite malty of caramel and multi-grain malt, a hint of peat, alcohol and a touch of dark pitted fruits. Taste is full bodied, some extra alcohol kick, caramel, peat and some floral hops. Finish has a strong alcohol presence, slightly metallic that hides any hop bitterness.
