COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our Oktoberfest honors tradition. It is brewed in spring using Munich and Vienna malts, bittered with German noble hops, fermented with German yeast, and lagered over the warm summer months until fall release.

I’ve been trying to chase this one down for two years, finally captured this one. On draught at the Blue Heron brewpub in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Pours a clear copper colored brew with a thick off-white head that slowly dissipates to a film top and white ring. Spotty lacing throughout. Aroma of caramel malt, some toffee, tropical fruit and a hint of lager yeast. Taste is medium to full bodied, with flavors of caramel apple, Munich malt, and a touch of dark pitted fruits. Finish is malty, though evenly balanced at first, it has a slightly sweet apple and caramel aftertaste. Everything I expect in a Munich style Oktoberfest.
