2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark amber pour. Sort of malty aroma. Flavor is sharply hoppy and floral. Thin. Meh.
Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a cloudy orange to amber color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off fairly quick. Light lace.
The aroma had some orange sweet pulp, some pine with some caramel malt backbone.
The flavor was bitter with a free standing sweet backbone through the malts. That separated sort of taste. Aftertaste had a little bit of white grapes, light citrus pulp and dust. Quick finish.
The feel was between light and medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine.
Overall, if the taste could come together and perhaps some of that dust I got in the aftertaste along with the white grapes, yeah, hmmmmmm....probably not again. PhatB420 (840) - Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 31, 2015
Bomber into a glass. Pours a cloudy orange amber with caramel. Phat head, light texture to foam, creamy and fluffed. Some lacing. Aroma of dank orange syrup, piney, sap, with a hop backbone. Taste of pine, bitter citrus, sugar free orange slices, musty white grape, and grapefruit. A bit off with the taste, some old barnyard dust kicks around, but drinkable, somewhat hoppy, sessionable, with a tantalizing fresh bitter orange aftertaste. mdindy (38) - Weymouth, Massachusetts, USA - JAN 18, 2014

quite a hazy burnt orange. 3 finger very fluffy and cream like head. sticks around too. Nose is slight orange and candies. minor leather hints. Sweet overall, malty and bitter with caramel and pine needles. Hint of oranges, and there’s a rust / metallic finish. AirForceHops (8026) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - NOV 26, 2013
22 oz. bottle purchased @ Top Shelf Brews, Hampton, NH. Hazy straw color and slightly over carbonated with a head that does not vanish. Nose is hints of pine and floral hops. The taste has a clean bitterness that lingers from the pine and floral notes. Dry crisp texture with a lighter body. It’s ok, no problems to speak of.

Poured a light amber with medium white head. Citrus and pine aroma, medium body. conway (2210) - - MAY 28, 2013
Bottle. Pours straw colored with no head. Aroma is grass, flowers, soap and some tropical fruit. Taste is the same but really accents the floral/soapy notes. Palate is medium mouthfeel and good sharp carb. Unfortunately didn't enjoy this one too much.

Buttery, soapy malt aroma. Hazy orange color. Taste of sweet caramel and melon, mild metal bitterness. Good bite, scratchy but otherwise lighter body. Not the best of pale ales, seems closer to the English model. thornecb (6147) - Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 18, 2012
Pours hazy orange amber into a Sam glass. White head with medium retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Sweet tropical fruit cocktail and citrus aromas. Soft with dusty metallic bitter tropical fruit skin and grapefruit pith.
