Growler shared by sonnycheeba. Pours hazy orange with a large, frothy off-white head, long retention with good lacing. Aroma is mango, pineapple, and papaya esters with dank, citrus, and herbal hops with biscuit and honey malt. Flavor is heavy hops and bitterness, tropical fruity esters, supporting biscuit malt and a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. bottleforager (3211) - Gray, Maine, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Pours a rich orange copper color with a finger or two of sticky eggshell foam. On the nose its a mango bomb, candied orange, pineapple and some woody pine touches. The palate follows the nose with a hop smacking juicy tropical fruit; pineapple, mango and orange zest. Backbone is clean and a touch grainy with some underlying straw in the finish. Nice bitterness that is more restrained than the last batch ! snoworsummer (6285) - baltimore, Maryland, USA - DEC 27, 2013

Had on tap at the source. As another patron had declared, this is a garlicky DIPA; although the wording of it was a bit strange, I’d have to agree. Bitter orange, tangerine, and a pleasant booziness which overcame my senses. I definitely notice a difference between the two Blue Lobster Galaxy DIPAs.
