Growler ... Clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Decent retention. The aroma delivers a boatload of tropical fruit and funky, musky armpit-like hops. Maybe a little too heavy-handed with the dry hops during secondary fermentation. I don’t know, but I don’t like this nuance at all and it seems to be occurring more frequently with all the aromatic hops with which brewers are blasting their IPAs during secondary fermentation. OK, rant over. Full-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and tingly carbonation. The flavor is painfully bitter, as is the lengthy finish and aftertaste. Bottle courtesy of newcigarz! Draft @ Poppers on the Mill. Hazy dirty gold color, thick head with retention. Nose is a real nice mix of grapefruit, mango, tart pineapple and some traces of resin. Flavors are highly hopped with a big citrus overtones, grass and dank bitterness on the finish. Lots of lingering bitterness. Very alive, green leafy hop notes as well. Damn this is a crazy amount of hop juice! Hop junkies can get a fix on this one! mcox90 (2107) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 17, 2013
4 oz sample at the source. Pours a lovely amber/orange with a foamy white head. Sinus clearing grapefruit aroma with palate puckering grapefruit, pine resin taste. Also, other tropical fruit flavors with a sturdy malt backbone. Full, bitter palate with a resinous coating on the tongue. Very nice. 50belair (3670) - Florida, USA - JUN 15, 2013

750 growler/swingtop via a kick ass friend in Maine. Big thanks! Pours a clear rust orange appearance with a nice, cream colored head. Very potent, kind of cake-like, grapefruit, passion fruit, mango, spicy, a bit dank hoppy aroma. This really smells nice! Tasting this, it’s almost like sucking on a really fresh hop cone. Somewhat bitter, herbal, spicy hoppy flavor with a pretty nice, caramel malt back bone and tons of citrus and tropical fruit. Finishes pretty bitter and the bitterness lingers quite a while. The bitterness is somewhat harsh but this is a nice beer. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - APR 28, 2013
Pours a rich orange copper color with a finger or two of sticky eggshell foam. On the nose its a mango bomb, candied orange and some woody pine touches. The palate follows the nose with a hop smacking juicy tropical mango palate that has a huge bitterness that overtakes the fruit from mid palate all the way through the finish... but then the fruit sneaks back in and says remember me ! As the beer warms to room temp the bitterness falls back a touch and the mango notes really open up beautifully. I bought a handful of growlers for friends but some have went undelivered because Ive been crushing them on my own... one after another ! radarsock (1204) - Massachusetts, USA - APR 27, 2013
Growler refill from the source for $9. To wine glass, it pours a amber dark orange: trim sudsy head one finger in length. Smells of galaxy hops. Tastes of galaxy hops. Grapefruit zest also prominently noticeable. Smooth and thin and crisp and lovely. I get kilned malt/Vienna underlying the hops. Marshmallows and vanilla by swallow. Good, but I guess I was expecting more. seth_lfod (325) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - APR 27, 2013
