Had on tap at the source and was accompanied by WillRunForBeer at their bar. Pours a hazily pale-yellowish Citrine supporting a minimal snowy white white ringed head half a finger in length. Tastes and smells of honeydew melons, graham cracker pie crusts, granny smith apple cider, cotton, Polar Lime seltzer, honey malt, and vanillin. The honey came off as synthetic, and it was much too sweet. A little vague holiday spiciness and farmhouse yeast peaking through by swallow, but I really had to concentrate firmly what I was observing. Nutmegs were hardly noticeable. Chewy and fun, but worth going out of your way for? I wouldn’t say so. mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - FEB 6, 2014
750 ml growler after a taster at the source. Poured light yellow/gold with a bit of cloudiness and a 1/4" white head. Aroma hints at white pepper, wheat, yeast and fruit. Hard to pin down. Semi sweet taste with the advertised honey showing up. Yeasty and peppery. Light bodied and bubbly. No discernible aftertaste. Nicely done

Tap at the source. Pours pale white gold with a big white head. Aroma is yeasty, some pepper, some tropical fruit. Honey shows up in the taste, especially the finish, along with wheat and spent yeast and nutmeg and peppery spice. Hard to tell this is over 8% abv.
