22oz bottle in trade with radarsock. Unfortunately I have an infected bottle. Tight tan-black. A-rosaty/chocolate-dk malt, some earthy. T-band aid/medicinal, then roasty-dk malt, earthy hops. Shared with a FL brewer. Will have to get another sometime. puboflyons (3498) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 21, 2014
From the 650 ml. bottle. It pours mostly black with a lot of head and some good lacing on the glass. Carbonated for sure. Dark malts, yeast, sweet chocolate, and earthy hops on the nose but everything is subtle and balanced. Medium. smooth body. A good sweetness in the taste followed by chocolate and coffee but nothing overwhelms the other. It is an easy to drink stout. johnnnniee (4408) - Bedford, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 5, 2014
Bottle from Bert’s
solid dark brown/black color with a moderate sized tightly bubbled khaki head. Aromas of roasted creamed coffee, with hints of chocolate and vanilla. Light earthy hop aroma. The flavor is sweet roasty coffee and chocolate with hints of caramel, cream, vanilla, and light fruit. Light to medium body with a moderate level of carbonation. Flavorful easy to drink sweet stout. Taster at the source. Pours nearly black with a trace beige head that rims the glass. Aroma is caramel, roast, coffee. This is a easy drinking stout with a sweet caramel backbone and some coffee bitterness to balance. Finish has some grassy bitterness.
