Cask at The Organ Grinder, Nottingham.
Pours golden, clear, small white head. Aroma of light malts and subtle hops, some fruitiness. Taste of initial lightly toasted malts, some caramel, then some fruits, lemon, orange, maybe mango and grapefruit? Nice brew overall. Brigadier (3680) - Chagrin Falls, Ohio, USA - JUN 28, 2013

This was no nearly as good as the other Blue Monkey taps that I have tried. That said I’ll be getting a few pours at the City Beer Festival next month to get more of a feel for the brewery. Maybe this is an aberration.
Aroma / Appearance - The coppery base was void of much life. Glazed orange rings and chunks of lemon wedge combined into a gently hopped aroma profile.
Flavor / Palate - The light fluid body was quick to sweep across the palate. Chocolate orange eggs watered down by a half liter of sparkling water tickled the throat. The consequence was an easy to drink beer but also one that was ultimately forgettable. On the plus side I only had to finish a half pint.
Off cask at royal oak Wirksworth. Pretty standard kind if pale ale. Enjoyable enough I would say. madmitch76 (24789) - , Essex, ENGLAND - APR 29, 2011

Mason & Taylor Hop Festival. Clear gold beer, no real head. Does have a mildy crisp palate, semi dry. Interesting beer! he hops are initially a little sour. Guava and papaya with a drop of mango thrown in. Rapidly gets sweeter towards the crisp dry finish which has some minerals. Intriguing!
Cask gravity at Mason & Taylor Hip Hop BF. Clear orange gold colour with lasting white head. Toasted toffee flavour. Tasty enough although a bit sweet after the ultra dry beers from the last few. Dry dusty finish. Ok

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Slightly spritzy golden. Fizzy, markedly fizzy on the tongue. Good gentle hop taste. Balanced, but perhaps a little watery. Goodish. TEJA (3056) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - JUL 28, 2010
A perfect thick white foam that lasts untill the pint is empty. Solid yellow color and clear. Flowery hop aroma. Frsh hop taste with small bitterness that lasts. Medium body but big drinkabillity. sm89walt (2065) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - JUL 2, 2010
Cask - Fat Cat, Norwich. Poured orange with a very slight haze and a small, fading white head. Lovely tangerine citric hops, toasty malts and a touch floral on the nose. Fresh and dry orange flavours and grassy, citric hops in the finish. Light to medium body, low to medium carbonation with a medium length finish. berkshirejohn (6491) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JUN 3, 2010
Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. Straw coloured with a thin cream head that laced the glass nicely; aroma of straw and hay; light refreshing hay flavour with a touch of citrus; and a sustained light bitter finish. A pleasingly refined pint. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - JAN 31, 2010
Cask conditioned handpump Swan & Rushes Leicester (The people group crawl). A vibrant gold coloured beer with a white head. The aroma has nice citrussy fruity hoppy notes with peach and orange showing. Hoppy and fruity citrus in the mouth with a bit of Amarillo prickle. A tasty beer again from the monkey.
