Cask (gravity) - Norwich Beer Festival 2011. Medium sized bubbly lasting white head; clear golden orange body. Zesty, crisp & juicy US hop profile - lemon, grapefruit, peach & tangerine. Not as juicy or crisp on the tongue & slightly toastier but each of the aforementioned characteristics remain in place. Medium body, lingerin hop finish, mostly soft mouthfeel, quite firm & rounded on the tongue.

Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, crisp-bread, orange peel, hints of cinnamon and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Taste: medium hebral bitterness, crispy, roasted notes, cookies, quite dry.
Palate: medium body and low carbonation, bitter finish.

[National Winter Ales Festival, Derby, 2015] - Blue Monkey Brewery Ape Ale, 5.4%, hellgolden klar. Aroma zitronig mit Kräutern, eher leicht. Leicht ölig, mittlerer bis kräftiger Körper. Im Antrunk verbindlich limonig, leicht süßlich, ohne Ecken und Kanten. In der Mitte etwas mehr Bitterkeit, floral, limonig aber immer noch etwas süßlich. UPDATED: AUG 23, 2015 Bottle from The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear pale amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma of grapefruit, lemon and orange peel, pine and some caramel. Taste of orange sorbet, grapefruit, lemon peel, some lime, resin and floral hops. Medium bodied and moderate carbonation. A bittersweet, fruity, resinous bitter finish. An American hopped, British styled IPA done correctly by a great brewery. So drinkable......................................... Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear deep golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma is very fruity of orange, grapefruit, peach, some lemon, slight lime and subtle caramel. Taste of orange marmalade, grapefruit, peach, resin, slight lemon, some red berries, subtle liquorice and a little caramel. Medium bodied and an oily texture. A lingering, resinous hop bitterness in the finish. Slightly thicker on cask, marmaladey and oily. Still packed full of flavour though. Nice.
