Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, orange peel and a touch of cinnamon. imdownthepub (14751) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 19, 2016
Cask conditioned at The Organ Grinder, Nottingham. Amber with white head. There is a thin, malty character to this, a slightly earthy, twiggy bitter. Quite basic and just a little dull.

Gravity dispense at the Falcon BF, Wooburn Green, 09/07/16. Copper to chestnut colouration with a well presented light beige cap. Nose is earthy fruit esters, spice, biscuit, malt. Taste comprises dates, toffee, toasted brown sugar, Rubus tea leaves, red berry notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a herb wash. Interesting number ... A bit disjointed but packs some flavour compared to others in this style.

Cask. Aroma modest tea and biscuit notes. Pours copper with pale lace top. Fruity but in a wine gum way. Soft carbonation verging on flat. Thus overall a gibbon that can blend into the crowd.
