(Cask at Craft Beer Co Covent Garden, London, 23 Nov 2016) Reddish amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of caramel, dried fruit, orange peel and a touch of cinnamon. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, roasted malt, raisins, orange peel and a gentle earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced bitter. Quite nice. Appearance - amber red with a decent head.
Nose - red and orange fruit.
Taste - more of the same. Fruit salad.
Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish.

Clear medium orange amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, caramel, nutty, toffee. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat.

Cask at The Holy Inadequate, Etruria. A clear amber colour with a medium white head. Aroma of caramel, hedgerow fruits, orange, some biscuit, subtle tree bark and slight spicy hops. Taste of caramel, hedgerow fruits, orange, some biscuit and slight spicy hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, fruity, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. A fruity, slightly bitter, bitter. Copper to chestnut colouration with a well presented light beige cap.
Nose is earthy fruit esters, spice, biscuit, malt.
Taste comprises dates, toffee, toasted brown sugar, Rubus tea leaves, red berry notes.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a herb wash.
Interesting number ... A bit disjointed but packs some flavour compared to others in this style.
