Bottle at home. Clear pale yellow. Aroma light malty (caramel), heavy hoppy. Flavor light sweet, medium bitter. Light to medium body. Body to light with this amount of hops.

Cask (handpump) at Langtry’s, Nottingham on 14 October 2014. Straw colour. Thin white head. Very leafy and tropical on the nose. Extremely juicy on the palate. Decent firm grip too. Fruity aftertaste lingers together with a firm bitterness. Just a touch too much residual sweetness for my taste.

Cask conditioned at The Organ Grinder, Newark, Notts. Clouded gold with no head. Fruity tart beer, sourish, lactic flavours. Not in great condition but we didn’t want to linger in here.

500ml bottle @ the Doghouse, Nottingham before watching one of the best LA punk rock bands of all time Down by Law. Venue was terrible, but a nice surprise to see Blue Monkey in the fridge. This was a pleasant, citrus heavy beer with a nice hit of lemon and lime. Fruity & lovely.

Cask. Clear copper with a small off white good lacing head. Herbal, dry flowers, light citrus, hay, bread crust. Light/medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, light/medium sweet and bitter. Dry and bitter finish. Well composed. When I take over you will get basic income and a daily pint of this.

Gravity pour at cpfcbf. Good dank, fusty pissy aroma. Light body, mild carbonation. Lemon, apple, pine, grass... It's good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

3.3
Scopey (14778) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - MAY 17, 2014
Cask gravity at CPBF 2014. It pours clear golden with a small white head. The nose is dank, earthy, must, barnyard, citrus peel and sweaty. The taste is bitter, piney, resin, oily, hop astringency, varnish and citrus fruits with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent hoppage, but smells musty.
