Cask conditioned at The White Lion, Oakham, Rutland. Amber with white head. Session type bitter, malty with a sweetish caramel note. Some bitterness, easy drinking. Reasonable stuff.

The_Bish (1118) - West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 28, 2012
Pint Lord Clifden. Fine. Normal, smooth darker bitter. Drop Forge was closed. Rose Villa Tavern was closed at 10.30. Rubbish

swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUL 31, 2012
Cask: copper amber pour. Sweet malts, light maple syrup, fruit forward, light bitterness. Decent

ManVsBeer (11205) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 20, 2012
Has slight malts in the aroma, but then an unexpected nice fruitiness for flavour.

GBBF. Cask. Clear brown beer. Neutral palate. Well balanced malt and hops. Light dry malt and some mildly fruity. But it’s all a bit dull.

BeerViking (5133) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 8, 2012
Gravity at Battersea Beer Festival 2012. Copper with a lacy white head and a peppery hop aroma. Full flavoured for the weight, with nutty and juicy malt, crisp hops and a drying bitter finish.

Benjii (3050) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - AUG 14, 2011
On cask at The Bow Bar. Pours a dark golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, hay and yeast. Flavours of caramel and hay with some light barley. OK but not as hoppy as others I’ve had from this brewery.

DanielBrown (4567) - Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, ENGLAND - FEB 3, 2011
Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Fairly pleasant Bitter, with a soft mouthful of peachy malt and unspecific bitterness. Perhaps some pepper here. OK.

chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 29, 2010
Cask (gravity dispense) at Ealing Beer Festival, July 2009. Dark amber/copper colour. Good condition. Rather grainy caramel malt aroma. Some chewy fruit and nuts. Surprisingly bitter mouthfeel at the finish after a somewhat malty start.

SilkTork (5926) - Southampton, United Kingdom, Hampshire, ENGLAND - JAN 7, 2010
Cask @ GBBF 2009. Hoppy pale ale. Fairly standard. Drinkable, clean and pleasant and unremarkable.
