At the Sandlot for the ballgame. Pours a nice amber color. Malty, yeasty with some bread. It is a good brew, and it is agreed to be easy drinking. onceblind (9887) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JUL 30, 2013
Clear brilliant gold, no lasting head. Aroma is pretty complex with lightly bitter earthy hops, a bit of fruity champagne grapes, and blonde cereal malts. Flavor is earthy with blonde malt cereal tones and a bit of leafy hop bitterness with a bit of Belgian dustiness and champagne note. 3fourths (9349) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - JUL 21, 2013
Draft. Clear cola brown with a short salt and pepper colored head. Crunchy oat bran malt aroma with some simple red apple esters and a light citrus / grass Cascade-like hop aroma. Light solvent, fizzy carbonation, medium to light body, mostly sweet, medium acid, medium to high bitterness for it’s body. A pretty un-extraordinary and un-exciting beer. On tap at the Sandlot Brewery during a Rockies game.
Pours a copper-amber color with creamy head and lace.
Aroma of bread, yeast, light malt.
Moderate carbonatin and mouthfeel.
Flavors of amber malts, light straw hops. Overall very full bodied and surprisingly tasty. I was expecting some Sandlot beers at the brewery at the base of the stadium and rather disappointed to find only Blue Moon beers, but I found this amazingly flavorful, easy drinking, and just plain good!
