Got it in a sampler pack. Went back the next day and bought just this. Really good on a hot summer day. greenish (1) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - JUL 5, 2013 does not count
I don’t know why the ratings are so low. This is a really solid summer ale. It’s not terribly hoppy, but sometimes you actually want a sweeter beer on hot humid days. Floral and slightly citrusy, but not so much as the regular Blue Moon. Hits the sides of the tongue with quite a fanciful flavor of sugared thyme and very gentle hops. Brilliant, long aftertaste that clings to the rear palate, evolving from malt to a delightful floral sweetness.
A perfect early afternoon beer, I’d sya. Koinfamous (1) - West Islip, New York, USA - AUG 24, 2013 does not count
Noticeable toasted wheat flavors with mildly sweet agave aftertaste. (Bottle and tap yield similar results) fontjt (77) - Louisiana, USA - SEP 14, 2013
This beer is the closest to the perfect summer beer I have ever had. It is refreshing like a cold glass of water and quenches your thirst like a glass of cool water, unlike most beers I have tasted before. There are no outstanding flavors or any subtle hints I can detect. Just cool refreshing beer. Almost no hoppy flavor to it. Sadly this beer doesn’t have much of a scent to it.

Bottle. Clear golden color with minimal white head. Strong aroma of wheat with tangy aftertaste. Hints of agave. tillmac62 (736) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - MAY 7, 2014
BBD 8/25/14. Clear light amber (golden) pour with a fair head and lacing. Retention is normal. Light aroma of biscuit and wheat over a slight honey sweetness. Light medium body with a not quite smooth texture. Normal carbonation with a bit of effervescence on the finish. The flavor profile is rather nice in a subtle fashion and well balanced. It begins with biscuit then flows into a subtle agave sweetness. The finish is smooth. ronaldtheriot (1936) - Laplace, Louisiana, USA - APR 25, 2013
Blue Moon Agave Nectar Ale has a relatively thick, slightly off-white head and a clear, old gold appearance. Some thin lacing is left behind. The aroma is of sweet, bready malt (really, just a standard beer aroma). Taste is of sweet, bready malt, no bitterness, and some sort of steamed vegetable note. This is quite sweet. Mouthfeel is soft and medium, and Blue Moon Agave Nectar finishes mostly dry, refreshing, and easy going. Overall, this is a good beer, even with its overall dull character. I suppose it’s worth a try. RJT ogre71 (359) - Utah, USA - SEP 13, 2015

This must be different for me than others. I smell agave in this.Like a light sweet caramel like with light fruity notes. Has some mineral/tinnyness also. But I get sweet nectar in this with very delicate notes. Slight spice.Bready.
Slight copper-gold.Carbed well,light froth,slight lace.
Taste is light sweet caramel with some breadiness, citrus, slight tart, mild dry finish, something pretty creamy about this with delicate fruity/floral notes.Slightly spicey. Somethin a little crappy about the finish but other wise this is pretty good.
