Type: 12-oz. bottle Glass: Lagunitas mason jar From: Target in Mission Valley (San Diego), Calif. Price: $15.99 for the Brewmaster’s Seasonal Sampler variety 12-pack Purchased: April 17, 2013 Consumed: April 19, 2013 Misc.: Best by Sept. Sept. 9, 2013 Poured a golden orange clear color with white frothy head that dissipated almost immediately. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom. No lacing on the sides, no retention. Smelled skunky malts from the get-go. That turned into honey, bread, cereal and some caramel. Definitely got better after the initial whiff. Tasted similar to the nose, only with some citrus notes. Got honey, caramel, sugary sweetness and some faint lemon grass. Light body. Thing texture. Average-to-soft (below average) carbonation. Abrupt, but crisp and clean finish. . A pretty good beer for the style. Great for the summer.

Pours clear, brassy gold with a small white head. Light scent...grass and wheat. Taste is wheat...lime. Flat, sweet fruity/flowery. Pretty lackluster

Aroma is bread-like malts, mild tartness and a hint of apples. The flavor is malts, tangy/sweet fruit (possibly the agave) and a beery and mildly tart finish.

Barreras (1689) - Diamond Bar, California, USA - APR 18, 2013
Pours a slight orange, yellow color with aroma of malt and minute sweetness. Taste is very crisp with a hint of nectar. A easy drinking beer good for a hot summer day but not flavorful at all. A decent beer for the wheat style but I wasn’t impressed.

12 ounce bottle Pours a clear golden color with a thin fizzy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of cactus, agave, herbal notes and a fruity finish. The taste is sugared fruits, citrus, caramel. Medium bodied.

Bottle poured a clear gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of bread, yeast and a hint of fruittiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread and agave nectar with a crisp agave finish.

Mora2000 (6158) - McKinney, Texas, USA - APR 15, 2013
Golden with a large white head. Aroma is wheat with some sweet, nutty agave nectar notes. Flavor is more of the same. I get some orange citrus, as well as some sweet agave and wheat. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Not too bad. Better than the reviews led me to believe it would be.

jredmond (8288) - New York, New York, USA - APR 15, 2013
Bottle shared with Andrew, Brendan and Streets. Pours a clear amber yellow body with no head, light white lacing. Aroma is pee, grass, and sweet syrup. Mouthfeel is thin with light graininess, bitter wheat, grass and urine. Besides some offensive stuff going on in the background, this is ultimately a let down due to it’s overwhelming blandness.
