Comes out of the tap a pretty clear amber with some white head - typical, but not off-putting. Aroma is malty with fruity and - must be agave - hints. Malty flavor has a fruity overtone, a bit sweet but not cloying. Firm texture has a good amount of fizz. For a pseudo-craft beer, quite good!

Aurelius (5371) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - APR 4, 2013
Clear, honey gold with a carpeting nearly-white head. Good label, twistoff longneck. Powdery lager aroma, smells more like a saazy lager than an agave blonde ale. Sweetish, biscuity malt, mild bitterness. A strange and disconcerting briny/veggie twang - on the verge of turning the stomach or being astringent - didn’t come off terrible, but just that churning feeling like if you drink warm water. Medium body, weird aftertaste. Don’t buy a sixer. Publix, either at I-10 or Bradfordville, I forget which.

I’m not sure about the flavor of this beer, because I don’t know what agave is supposed to taste like. Overall it’s not very pleasant.

Graciously shared by laura, Decent aroma, balanced but a little adjuncty, meh.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark gold with a creamy off-white head. Aroma is mildly sweet, possibly with a hint of hop. Med body. Flavor is mostly light malt. Not sure I can fish out agave. It is somewhat bitter, but it finishes with a sort of light sweetness. Harmless, but far from tasty. I think Coors figured out that there’s an agave nectar surplus recently.

Light colored, slight haze. Light, yeasty nose. Taste is a combination of original Blue Moon and certain other Mexican macros.

Bottle, imagine your typical blue moon without the orange flavor and smell, same flavor ! Sweet up front, cloudy color, nice head. Good for a hot summer day if this is what you are into. Overall it taste sweet with a boring after taste.

Fatehunter (2568) - Corbett, Oregon, USA - OCT 2, 2012
Straw color with almost a finger of head. Descent looking. Metallic smelling with a candy smell, probably the agave? Still, it doesn’t really come out well. Tastes like water, then a sweetness like kool-ade. The sweetness, without changing, lasts until the end. Lighter body with some fizzyness to it. A below average beer overall. Not a hint of blond ale in it. It’s really just an agave booze drink.

berrya785 (441) - Kansas, USA - AUG 30, 2012
12 oz bottle from a variety pack. Pours a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is malty, fruity and sweet. Taste is the same as the aroma.
