Nice fresh beer, strong wheat flavor but the agave taste very weak... Not a big fan of Weizen beers but this one is just OK for a while. HuskerTan (2322) - Ravenna, Nebraska, USA - DEC 29, 2013
UPDATED: DEC 30, 2013 Bottle.
A- Orange, agave, wheat.
A- Orange color, clear liquid, white head.
T- Orange, subtle agave, wheat.
P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, sweet finish.
O- Not much difference from a normal Blue Moon. Slightly sweet and lacking a lot of flavor. cargo150 (1289) - Quebec City, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 23, 2013
If I had all the money back I’ve wasted on blue moon and like products, I could go buy something really, really nice for myself this holiday. I keep buying them, they keep being around average, and I keep wanting to move on to the next beer. So agave nectar, may you be the last blue moon I waste my 1.50 on. Clear golden yellow with a large white head. Aroma of agave, salt, lime and toasted malt. Taste is sweet and salty with lime, wheat, malt and spices. DSG (15035) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - NOV 24, 2013
Bottle sample at a tasting at the Maierovicz’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Clear golden. Aroma of cardboard, a bit of fruitiness and some spiciness. Sweet flavor with cardboard, spiciness and a bit of fruitiness (a bit citric). Rather light-bodied.

Tap, pour is hazy yellow, aroma sweet, is a herbal wheaty and definitely the agave comes through and it doesnt really help, not for me, jake65 (3979) - Meridian, Idaho, USA - NOV 10, 2013
Bottle: Shimmering golden pour, good clarity with lots of tiny bubbles, and a fizzy white head. Nose is malty, sort of grassey, and a little sweet. At first sip, I’m taken back in awe of the sweetness. A little grassey and some hints of malt; it gets a tiny bit metallic before ending in a rush of sweetness. Must be the agave nectar... I’ve had agave before, but this is way sweeter than I recall. Where is the malt or wheat to balance this out? Too sweet. mrossini (34) - - OCT 23, 2013
Not quite was I was expecting. Smell and appearance are ok, but taste is a bit off, and tastes kind of doughey. Not a fan. Radek Kliber (7470) - Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), POLAND - OCT 8, 2013

Aroma: frontal sweetens with slight green herbal hop , mild fruity citrus hinted elements. Touch of pear and honey (agave?).
Apperance: poured as blend of gold with pale amber. Light white top , sparse lace on glass. Decent.3+
Taste/Palate etc. medium bodied with thin walls. Lighter carbonation. Malty front, touch of caramel with unfermented sugars. Bready backing. Peach with slight herbal hop hints at end. In the middle of what I expected.
My last random beer of the night. Blue Moon’s Agave Nectar Ale. 5.6% bottle from Sugaya. On popping it open it smells like a Bud, not a good start! Poured into a weizen glass which revealed a very clear yellow gold beer though it looks like a Bud. The aroma gave me some cream soda notes, a bit of spice & yes possibly some agave. The full bodied mouthfeel is nice but the taste is super sugary, crushed grain & a touch of spice. I feel like I am drinking a soda, what a let down...
