I’m not sure about the flavor of this beer, because I don’t know what agave is supposed to taste like. Overall it’s not very pleasant.

Good beer is easy to drink isn’t overly sweet not bitter easy to enjoy no surprises.

Aroma of agave and malt. Taste is sweet and musty malty. Overly sweet. Interesting but not my thing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draft at GABF. Entering old notes. Pours a mostly clear yellow with a white head. Nose is slight agave, some bread, some light citrus. Flavor is similar with light agave/ tequila, some mild bread, and some candied orange. Mild flavor and light body.

Maxbier (1000) - Maryland, USA - FEB 28, 2015
Clear blonde color with white head. Aroma of slightly musty caramel candy malt. Taste is sweet and lightly carbonated. If you like soda and tolerate beer and are looking to consume some alcohol this is a good way to do it without having to consume something repugnant.

Strykzone (7799) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - DEC 22, 2014
12 ounce bottle. Tea colored with a little foam and a little carbonation visible. Agave is tasted to be seems to be natural. Decent stuff.

Weevo (187) - Indiana, USA - OCT 26, 2014
Bottle: included in the summer assortment case. Pours light amber with a strong white head. Aroma of citrus and agave. Taste of strong agave and some honey. Ok, but the flavors and sweetness are a little to much for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Danyel (1609) - Colorado, USA - OCT 13, 2014
Can. Pours clear light orange with a very frothy white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet, wheat, earthy. Taste is sweet upfront with a astringent bitterness on the finish, light bodied. Overall, it is repulsive. Maybe one of the worst brews ever.

BillWyce (1116) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 13, 2014
Pours clear golden color with a 2-finger white head, and a notable effervescence along the glass. Light citrusy aroma with a touch of black pepper. Body is light and mildly oily. Sweet fruity flavor with a touch of earthiness that lingers a bit at the back.

slowrunner77 (13206) - Reno, Nevada, USA - SEP 11, 2014
"Best of the Blue Moons (perhaps). In a small quantity, I even like it a little. But by the end of a bottle or pint, the wimpy fizzy body and lack of anything resembling complexity just doesn’t hols up. What at first is fruity and refreshing gets old fast. A session type micromacro such as this should be the exact opposite - able to enjoy in large quantities."
