(Bottle 35,5 cl) rangey golden, hazy with a bubbly head - actually quite a noisy head... Giant yeast sediment. Loads of fruit in the aroma, and loads of coriander. Classic Belgian White. Owned by Coors?? Do they understand the term Belgian White? Nice effort though. Travlr (24826) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 1, 2009

Blue Moon may go down as the beer that "started it all" for me. While it is in the "Belgian tradition," Blue Moon is made by Coors. And before I actually went to Belgium and knew what that tradition entailed, I thought Blue Moon was the best beer out there. I know better now.
That being said, I think Blue Moon is one of the better beers widely available in the United States. A smooth beer that looks good and tastes great. Nice creamy head, orange tint, citrus flavor - an excellent way to start appreciating beers. But keep in mind: it’s only a start.
