For being available just about anywhere, Blue Moon sure is a good beer. Highly refreshing with a smooth citrus flavor. Its nowhere near the "true" Belgian Whites, but will do in a pinch. Enjoyable year round.

330ml bottle. Pours hazy orange with small off white head. Not a huge amount in the nose but orange and a little spice. Very smooth slightly creamy mouth feel. Taste is light wheat malt, orange peel and juice, touch of corriander and white pepper. Slight bitterness on the finish. Not bad, very refreshing but not terribly exciting either.

Aroma; wheat, lemon, catholic incense. Look; hazy golden beer, off white head. Taste; wheat malts, butter, lemon, caramel, clove note - mild finish. Feel; soft soft as velvet - wow! Overall; high drinkability, a nice one served chilled, even a bit on its way up. Good! [long pint@ Bishops Arms Lule - a safe part of Sweden]

This golden orange drink makes a substantial and fairly fine white head. There is a lively inviting look about it as it gushes with carbonation that moves quickly through the drink. The nose and flavour are somewhat obscure to me and I couldn't identify any particular flavours despite the promise of orange and spice. Light and frisky in the mouth the slightly sweet flavour made it an enjoyable encounter. It's not eye popping stuff but I would happily repeat and recommend it for a warm evening in the sun.

Bottle at Fifty Five Bar, Camden Town, London, UK. Colour is pale unclear yellow/orange with a medium frothy, creamy, long lasting, white head. Aroma is sweet, malts, a little bit fruity. Taste is medium sweetness, lightly bitter. Light body, soft carbonation. Very easy drinking.

Pours a cloudy amber with a fair amount of head. The drink contains lots of little bubbles rising to the surface hinting that this will be a gassy drink. Surprisingly for a beer labelled as a "wheat beer" the smell is quite lagerish but not altogether unpleasant, just generic. The texture of the drink is where this beer shines, it is soft and smooth and the overall mouth feel is quite light. The taste isnt as complex as I would have liked but the drink does have some pleasant wheaty overtones. Overall not a bad wheat beer at all but I was expecting more.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy, golden orange with a high, tight, white head that lasts forever. Aromas of orange peel, spice, and dough. Taste is smooth and sweet with flavors of orange and spices. Light-bodied with a slick texture. Carbonation is average and the finish is sweet and long. Overall a nice beer, perfect for a hot summer day while lounging by the pool.
