Bottle from Wal-Mart. Brownish pour with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, and kinda blah. Taste is sticky, a little berry, cardboard, and toasted grain. Stampion (276) - Washington, Washington DC, USA - JUL 2, 2013
No overly blackberryish or tart. Instead, it's a well balanced mild easy drinking ale. Much better than some of blue moons other summer offerings.

I tried four of the seasonal Blue Moon varieties in a row. I expected this one to be the worst, but it was really the "best" in the sense that it was palatable. A little syrupy and not really at all "tart," but its sweetness is mild enough that its pretty drinkable. MarkSachon (1028) - Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 1, 2013
12 oz bottle from the half case sampler pack purchased in Virginia. Many weaknesses and very little to justify a second round. Could have been much better. Finhead (1770) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - JUN 30, 2013
A clear, brown pour with an off-white head. It has a mixed berry aroma with a malt backbone. The body is light and watery with average carbonation. It has mildly sweet taste with a somewhat dry finish. I didn’t really get any tartness out of this beer.

Great beer. You get the nice ale flavor with just a touch of tartness from the blackberry without being overpowering. It's enough to make the taste just right.

12 ounce bottle from a variety pack. Pours a tea color with a thine off white head that fades quick. Taste is of black berries, brown sugar, wheat, chocolate and some yeast. Similar aroma. Has a decent, lighter body with a dry finish. Easy to drink and enjoyable, but a bit artificial tasting. demitriustown (1192) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JUN 29, 2013
12 oz bottle: Aroma is bready malt note upfront, grassy chinook hops notes, yeast, and blackberries. Appearance is a purple hue with golden poking through a slight purple but most white head on top. Taste is kind of all over the place with the blackberries, a myriad of chocolate malts intermingled with bready malts then some grassy hop backing. This is all over the place. Overall, Bleh- Cheers! Bottled. Some blackberries - duh, otherwise pretty damned unimpressive. Not necessary. jandd1983 (4382) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 25, 2013
It poured a cloudy copper color with a small white head. The aroma was of spice and some blackberries. The taste was of blackberry and a little tart with a light dry finish. Decent.
