Bottle poured a clear reddish amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of blackberry, light earthiness and light bread. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread and light blackberry with a crisp finish.

On tap at Texas Beerfest. Pours a cloudy copper with a small frothy off white head. The aroma is spice and blackberry. Thin mouthfeel with a blackberry and tart flavor with light dry finish. A good fruit beer from Blue Moon.

Bottle. Amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, malt and blackberries.

12 ounce bottle. Blackberry Tart, really? If they want me to compare this to Raspberry Tart, they’re going to be pretty dismayed. Pours a dark copper color with a medium sized foamy white head. Decent head retention. Aroma of tart berries with a bit of caramel. The taste is tart fruits with a mild bit of cocoa. Thin-medium bodied.

Bottle. Blackberry and malt aroma. Purple-brown with moderate head. Lightly sweet blackberry and wheat malt flavor. Medium body. Not too bad.

Rich golden pour, nice big white head. Aroma is loaded with blackberries, nice tart aromas, wheat and yeast. Flavor is a really good blend of sweet/tart and juicy berries. Actually pretty nice.

j12601 (10871) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 8, 2013
Bottle courtesy of Brian at Max’s for Jen’s going away tasting. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Smells of old paper and artificial berries. Medium bodied, sweet and a bit ugly. Paper and old malt. Sweet fruit. Unpleasant.

DocLock (10647) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 11, 2014
Notes from shared bottle at Craft. Copper toward magenta pour. Some blackberry, caramel malt, in the nose, medium to light palate heft and complexity. OK, not great.

DrSilverworm (9671) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 29, 2013
Sample from a bottle, shared by Kevin during a game of Kings. Best by Sep/16/13. Clear amber red color. Good thin off-white head. Just a couple loose bits of lace. Medium body. Kind of smooth, lightly soft carbonation. Lightly dry finish. Barely tart at all. Mostly just sweet. Blackberry aroma, kind of artificial tasting, more blackberry flavoring than other beer flavors. Not horrible, nothing good about it though, really. Was excited because of "tart". But it’s not tart. Just your typical BMC fruit beer.

onceblind (9398) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAY 22, 2017
Clear deep rosey amber with a thin off white ring of foam. Nice toffee bready malty base on the nose with a spike of blackberry sweetness. Smooth semisweet flavor that’s blackberry purée and a light little bit of bready toffee malt and slight ambery crystal malts. Not tart at all, just a bit sweet and jammy and malty.
